Our autistic son is back into his stride with refusing to attend school, so we're in the process of coming up with a new plan.

Head teacher told me "I think your 2 different people one at school and one at home, because your not like that here". It wasn't helpful. My daughter just wants chocolate, hardly eats, it's all v hard work.
My daughter will not go to school, doctors, dentist, hates hospitals, has anxiety, fears everything, struggling with the school attendance, they even offered her to start at 10am- 12 with a pkt lunch, still doesn't interest her. Stuck, ihave FND and her refusals and anxiety stress me.
I've gone through that with my son. Hope your situation has improved ❤❤❤

I used to work in a school like where Andy is and you are spot on...it's all about £££... which is so wrong when its playing with people's lives!!you both doing a great job mate 👍

I allmost start to wonder why Andy doesn't like the school? What happened what made him not like this school?
You and Anna do the best you can to get him to school. You did the best to inform all involved regarding Andy refusing to go to school.
I think it is better to look for another school for Andy before July or August, mainly because this refusing to go to school never happened before. If going to a school gives that many issues, I think it doesn't matter what the school wants or acknowledge or admitting them not being able to add up to his needs.

thought id head over to the lazy students guide so I could meet this david chapman lol, turns out he lies, thought his videos were always less than five mins? 1st vid 9mins lmao, only joking. On Andy like I said id slowly be introducing a routine to him where u can slot school into in September, but more importantly Anna can do it without you, without leaving the house and with the possibility of reduced kick offs, maybe he doesn't go school but misses fraser, then when hes used to missing fraser maybe he misses bargain hunt and so on till he runs out of no school watch scenarios
why is the school hanging on to Andy? he must be killing their attendance data. I hope social services can help you properly.
+Andrew Wakefield money presumably. As soon as he's off their books they're £8k a year down. It's probably a TAs entire wage, so unless they've got someone lined up to come straight in, they'll have to make someone redundant if he leaves, or at the least make some serious cuts mid year, which is really hard to do

I hated school I love going to the shops ❤ Tesco's is my fav shopping with my parents is the best if he likes the school let him go❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ bless him nobody wants to go to a school where they are miserable bless him I'm different to hes braver than me i don't go to residential ❤ I think it's the school him doesn't like ble ss 😊
