Hi bayuset, sorry for late reply, had been out for a while. I bought these blues harps purposely to learn bending notes. I used to do bends in my Butterfly tremolo in my younger days so I was confident I could use the eeeeee-ooooooo technique, and I think did it quite easily. However, it was different when I played a piece and realized I could not get the right semitones. Hope this answers your question.
It's hard to say, Fergie. I haven't really played too much for a while. Hohner's Golden Melody harps are pretty good if you need a light touch and don't need the lungs of a Rhino but it's not easy to find them in the key you might need. My favourite is the Hohner Special 20 but it all depends on what you want to do.
Got to about the 3 minute mark and wondered why I was watching unpack and look at each harmonica. I closed it and went outside to watch something more interesting. The grass was starting to grow.
hi what would you recommend, i started the harp for playing blues i got two hohners in c and a and i was wondering what better brands there are cus im thinking of getting a Bb for playing red river blues :P
Like the others said, this model Swan harmonica sounds terrible. It leaks air and several notes are out of tune. I wouldn't recommend this harmonica to anyone -- especially beginners. A harmonica this bad would discourage them. Just to be fair... I also have a Swan chromatic harp. It's no Hohner, but it does have pretty good quality.
you must have been gutted with that batch, looked nice when you opened the box but as soon as you picked it up, i sensed disappointment, i got the same one, 😞
+Harmonica In The Breeze. i gave my swan harps to my girls yo keep them off my Hohner crossover and special 20! its amazing the quality difference when you buy a decent Harp,

I recently bought a set of these harmonicas and can say that they are easily the worst instruments I've ever played. It's impossible to achieve a clean sounding overdraw, and overblows take stroke-producing amounts of lung power. Don't be tempted by the low price, folks; these are most certainly NOT blues harps.

Try learning to use the fast forward slider. It took me one tap. Keep standing outside.

OK thanks - the general opinon seems to be that these Swan harps are pretty low quality according to some other reviews.
