She had choosen a good emerging career path ☺️.

I’ve looked at various Software Engineering disciplines at various universities in Canada and I don’t see any curriculum that teaches the requirements for Data Engineering. Can anyone recommend any online courses for this? Are there any certifications available? I wished she mentioned what additional resources she used to land the job.

This girl is clueless..may be cuz she is too early in her data engineering career. Firstly, data engineers process data and push the processed data into a data warehouse or an analytical database. Its the data analysts or BI developers who develop visualizations and share data with the management for analytical decision making. Also, she did DS and ML course and made it to DE, i mean what? Only relevant skill she learnt was Google Bigquery. $100k for that one skill is a bang for the buck.
