The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. $52k dividends received in 2022.
I agree! That's why it is advisable that you have to invest while you still have a regular job or earning a regular income, and do it constantly. You still need to have something that will keep you going even if you're investing. Good financial planning and money allocation is the key.

Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I do my best to assess the reward/risk and to invest in names that have significant upside potential of earning me passive income. i stopped working in hospitality industry. damn , your work hour is not from 9-5 like what most people said., but here its like 8AM- 12midnight esp when you work in office. then you go back home and reach home at like 1:30 am and sleep at 2 am. go to work by 6:30 am . urghh.. although we have office schedule/hour rotation, in hotel industry its mostly like this. quit and start my own business, and get into crypto and i feel more fulfilled now. This channel is really amazing. Really help many lives a lot.

When trying to get late payments removed on an active account, if it cannot be verified by the bureaus, do they remove that late payment and show on time payment for that month, show no information available for that month, or delete that account off the credit report? I want to get my late payment history corrected but not sure how disputing with the credit bureaus affects the active account if they cannot verify the information to be accurate, I wouldn't have been able to take them off if not me meeting ExtremeToppers.

Yeah you making 1k invest into something that gives an average 2.9% yield, that would take nearly 30 years to cover that initial 1k, Assuming your investment would grow, how long does it take to actually turn that initial loss around? Of course you can continually increase your investment but then you have more money you need to earn back. Do you simply have that dividend put back into the investment to compound the growth?
