Miles Wilkinson From what I can gather, Mike Westcott was first a history teacher at Northlea, then went into radio/voice overs but I have no idea how he wound up doing this. He’s living in Cape Town now, it seems he continued doing voice overs for advertisements but may have retired now.
Not sure about pilsener but you can still get the lager out of Zim and maybe SA (there's some other beer in Sri Lanka who uses the name Lion Lager but I doubt they're related.)

Shumba is shona not ndebele. Isilwane is ndebele for lion. But yes it is a beer you get in southern Africa and it is called lion lager. It was very popular in Rhodesia and specifically with the RLI.
@@user-xg8yy7yl1d Rhodesia is NOT in N.A. It is in AFRICA (....or it was) It no longer exists. Lion Lager Beer (Shumba) might still be had in South Africa......probably not available in US

Hi "Shumba" is the Shona word for lion. Lion Larger is a beer produced by South African Breweries.
Does this beer still exist? Or did it die with Rhodesia?
