Its so bittersweet to watch our kids grow up. Youre proud of them but its also the end of an era. In so many small instances. One i can think of for me is Lochlynn can buckle herself in now. Well for a while now. When i would buckle her in, i would usually get a hug while trying to latch it. I miss that hug.
Yes it’s so difficult to watch them grow, but so amazing at the same time to see who they are becoming.

Great job Malia! My daughter practiced putting her hands up... by just holding them up the whole time, therefore we all held them up, going up hills... in the station, you know, as soon as we were secured, the hands went up! It still makes us laugh (my daughter is turning 10 next month, so only a little older).
It’s a work in progress! She’s getting more brave every trip.

So I was driving 9 hours to see my niece, who was put in hospice for metastatic breast cancer. Was halfway there and got a call that I was too late. But this video was a bit of an uplift in an otherwise very crappy day.
