Just for future reference; adults aren't allowed to wear the costumes in Disney because they can easily be mistaken for a cast member (character).
It is so the emersion is still in place for kids, Disney doesn't want noncast-members to be mistaken for workers because the characters have set was to respond to kids and they don't want the kids to be taken out of the magic of Disney.

The blue-faced, red-eyed fellow in the Imperial officer uniform whom y'all made dance is Grand Admiral Thrawn. A tactical genius who is only topped by Vader in how much people fear him. He's ruthless, cold and calculating, and if the Force wills it he will be making a comeback in the anticipated Ahsoka show.

A friend of mine who was a cast member said that adults can't dress up as characters there in case someone mistakes them for the actual character.

This is a rule in all Disney Parks that any outfit you wear visiting the park may not cause people to be confused wether or not you are a cast-member.
Cloaks are generally applied into this rule because from the back of a person it'd be impossible to tell if that person is wearing a costume underneath it or not.
Same things goes with people that do Disney-bounding. They can dress up in costumes indicative of the Star Wars franchise but anything that looks as though it belongs in the actual movies will not be allowed into the park. (i.e. dressing up like Han Solo or a Jedi/Sith)

Y’all remind me of my family except we go to Disney World in Florida a lot especially since we live an hour away from it now lol. I hope when Malea is older that she’ll still want to go to Disney world the way that I do. I’ve been going since I was 3 years old and I still experience the same joy I do every time I go that I did when I was a kid. I just turned 18 :)
Well hopefully the characters can walk alongside the people again sometime soon it's just not the same but I can understand the excitement of getting to see all the characters again.

Hi Hayes Family. Such a lovely vlog. You meeting the Evil Queen is always a joy to watch. And Haunted Mansion looked so cool! I used to be so scared of it that I never rode it. But now that I have, it's one of the best attractions in all the Disney Parks! So much detail and imagination went into making it. No wonder it's Malia's favourite! Thanks for sharing you guys!
