- Everyone knows that the Miata is always the answer. It’s an amazing car, pretty reliable, and very easy to work on while being insanely fund and low cost. My grandma who was a Miata person for many years got a mini cooper a few years back and it’s been a nightmare for her to keep it running correctly and most mechanics won’t work on them. So we found a Miata, restored it to great looking and running condition and surprised her with it! Here’s the story of how we did it and how she reacted to it!

That coolant bleeder thing does the same thing as the coolant reservoir. Any air in the system will be filled with coolant when you put the cap on the radiator and drive it till the thermostat opens. As the engine and everything cools down the coolant system will push out air pockets and pull in coolant.
Yea but this doesn't have a Degas tank. So its much easier to bleed with the funnel.

That radiator looks like the same exact one that comes in a Nissan D21 hardbody pickup truck. I picked up a brand new one from rockauto for less than $100.

I used one of those coolant funnels to do a flush on my mom's '17 civic and for some reason the system just stopped intaking coolant. I had to be adding the coolant slowly and not letting coolant sit in the funnel until the block was full with coolant
