- The Lost Vikings 2 is a 1997 puzzle platform video game developed by Beam Software and published by Interplay. All versions of the game, except the SNES release, were titled Lost Vikings 2: Norse by Norsewest (Norse by Norse West: The Return of Lost Vikings in the U.S.). The sequel to The Lost Vikings, it features the original three characters plus two new playable characters: Fang the werewolf and Scorch the dragon.[5] The gameplay remains largely the same, though the three Viking characters all have new or modified abilities.

I like how they fixed some of the issues the first one had, like fire not being instant kill anymore, being way harder to get stucked with the characters that can't jump and having less trial and error deaths.
Times each character was played in every level:
Erik: 24
Balrog: 23
Olaf: 25
Fang: 9
Scorch: 9
"HOM3" and "B4DD" are the only levels where you play as both Fang and Scorch.
There are only *Six* levels where you don't use Olaf.

I played this game in an emulator for PS2, i buyed on the streets of serraria, Diadema, Brazil
I swear the genre of action puzzles lived and died with this franchise. I wish there was a comparable game.
Trine series is fairly close although with less of a focus on action

Probably well known by this point, but worth mentioning here - on that opening screen where they just run straight across to the witch and cauldron - have Olaf put his shield over his head at the edge of the higher ground. Jump Eric on top of the shield. Now jump Eric and boost his jump and let him fall on the lower part of the terrain on the screen and he will get hurt. Do this three times and he will die on this screen. A note will appear saying something like "If you can't even do this screen without dying you must need help" - and all character will get new super powers that last the whole game. The only one I remember right off hand is that the dragon will be able to flap his wings and fly indefinitely without getting tired.

Just like Hong Kong 97 which i think is the same year dung xiou ping died yet that game was released in 1995 and its about hong kong being freed from british power
