I’ve played for a long time with breaks. I enjoyed Greymoor and just started Blackwood. I mostly do questing with occasional pve and pvp. I enjoy the stories, I just wish the dialog choices mattered a lot more. I don’t need 100 possible outcomes, but adding more dynamics would make chapter replay a lot more fun.
I do feel that too but we cant forget this is a MMORPG and not a singleplayer RPG, but yes, even 3-5 choices with maybe 3 possible endings/rewards/Etc (not saying for all quests), as it is a MMO I dont really mind it tho

Sadly ESO being a MMO can't really do branching choices in it's main questline. However Almost all zone side quests have choices with differing outcomes for a small region of the map/ side characters and differing rewards based on choice made.

You can easily play it solo. Unless you can't play online. Otherwise. I've done it. Since launch on and off i've played 80+% of the game.
All the dungeons/multiplayer stuff are really side quests. And you can join randoms for 20min and go back to soloing
I've ONLY played this game solo and basically treated it as a SP game. Give it a try, it's better than you think!

An NPC could theoretically be scripted to play the same animation and kill another NPC, but it’s still probably just a scene for the trailer.
@@skyro0412 nah, I mean that through customizations and housing you can basically build a deadric lair to praise whoever you want. Of course roleplay needs to be included for that, but I guess that is understandable. What matters is that the game basically allows you to become whoever you want.
@@arnoldnemeth8578 And as a playstyle as well; Sorcerer can summon Daedric entities, certain armors let you summon more daedric entities, Necromancer is a class that by definition goes against the divines and leans into daedric power; u can honestly take the idea of a Daedric cultist playthrough pretty far along through the game...the only real issue is coming up with a roleplay reason to do a lot of the quests, as a big chunk of 'em kinda identify u as a good guy

I wish they would of made a fallout mmo like this, instead of fallout 76.They should of gave the task to the same developers aswell.
People be shitting on F76 for small reasons the glitches were extremely overstated but it’s the kinda game you can only enjoy with friends but I get where you’re coming from Fallout doesn’t even have a quarter of the lore the elder scrolls do it would be extremely hard to make somthing
Funny, I actually wish they had of made an Elder Scrolls MMO more like Fallout 76, basically Skyrim with friends, insted of just another WoW or Guild Wars or Black Desert, or whatever.

3080 RTX? You don't need anywhere near that powerful or new of a GPU to run ESO completely maxed out at a locked 60 FPS. I have a GTX 1080 (regular not Ti) and have all the settings maxed out (including going into the setting ini file and changing it so the textures are always at max quality to get rid of any texture pop in) at 1440p and it's a locked 60 FPS. Esp since the latest update introduced the "multithreaded rendering" option. It's off by default so you have to go into Settings>video and turn it on (and restart the game) but that fixed the few areas where I would have the FPS dip then go back to 60. Now it's a locked 60.
honest question is ESO truly worth getting into at this point?? I've tried a few times at its original launch but just dont know now

I would hope that is going to come at some point now that Microsoft owns Zenimax/Bethesda which of course includes Zenimax Online and ESO. Also expect ESO to be added to GamePass PC any day now.

Just finished this chapter and the storytelling was great, but never did i get to embark on any battle like event shown in the trailer, with forces running at each other.

ZOS trailers are always great for TESO. Perhaps my favourite so far is the Elsweyr trailer. Loved the premise outlined in the trailer. The actual gameplay was fantastic too. Hoping this will be another great one.

You do know that an entirely different studio dose all the work for Elder Scrolls Online and has nothing to do with the "traditional" single player Elder Scrolls games right? Zenimax Online Studios dose ESO (and recently opened a second studio that is working on a new MMO) and Bethesda Softworks makes games like Fallout 3, Skyrim, Fallout 4 etc and is working on ES 6. Don't expect ES 6 for a couple of years though. Starfield isn't even out yet.

That's the way it works with "chapters" (what they like to call their Expansions) for years now. You'll be able to buy this with crowns when the next "chapter" releases. That's the system they have used since the first chapter which was Morrowind.

Lol didn't happen. Because Elder Scrolls 6 is still in very early stages of development and they have nothing meaningful to show right now. And most likely won't till several months AFTER Starfield is released. It's gonnna be a couple of years before ES 6 comes out.

@@Andi91 I couldnt disagree more with you. I've not done many side quests but I'm 3 or 4 in the main quest and it really pulled me in. It's interesting. I loved greymoor but its main quest was kinda meh for me at times despite having a bias for werewolf and vampire shit. I love the companions, just wish we could get an evil one who doesn't mind when I murder non hostile npcs. And yes they are rather weak until you level them up and get them gear.

Elder scrolls 6 is being worked on by Bethesda game studios-maryland. Different teams, different studios, different job requirements.
They share the same publisher which is bethesda softworks.
Besides it doesn't matter if they get more employees, bgs-m will still take the same amount if time to make elder scrolls 6. They've been on schedule with their game releases, which take 3-4 years. So starfield is on time and so tes6 will prob come out 2024-2027. That's just how it is and yelling at a different studio isn't going to help. It's like standing outside of a taco truck and yelling for them to quit and go work at taco bell.

This engine has got to go....this gameplay/engine hasn't aged well. Even the Witcher 3 which dropped around the same time puts this to shame.
In my opinion this is the worst chapter they've ever released.
I really liked the previous chapters, but this one felt mindnumbingly boring to me.
The new zone is completely uninspired and boring, almost all green grass with some trees and rocks here and there... and the main story quest has been average at best.

Yeah the DLC is underwhelming, the zone is really bland and boring and traveling from point to point is mind-numbingly boring. I liked the story and quests though nothing great and not as good as the other DLC stories but was still ok for me. Even the cities are super generic. Was meh.
Holy shit could you be more full of it? The city is way more detailed and overall more complex than its oblivion counterpart, the zone also starts in the niben forest then turns progressively swampier the further east and closer to black marsh you are. The side quests are just as well written as the chapters before it if not better, the public dungeons are very interesting to explore with their on lore behind them. My advice, stop speeding through shit and take the time to actually take things in and explore.
However oblivion portals are shit, so yea.

The most boring chapter ever,has no new class,no new skill line,no new game play style,and class balance so bad that almost half of the players playing magicka necromancer in the endgame pve. Weird. Played on the PC NA server last night. Players all over the place in PVE and the PVP zone was so full it had a wait time to get in. Every faction was at max capacity.

Listening to the story with Eveli's 4 year girl like voice is funny and creepy. And shows how good the game, well it's story, could be if they used more mature characters. I can't understand why they create the background for some really dark elder scrolls storytelling, and then throw it to oblivion with shallow fan service characters. The only new feature in Blackwood is the companions, and it's a double edged knife, because it makes the game retarded level easy. At this point ESO is just a servicable online substitute for ES fans, waiting endlessly for ESVI, knowing deep down inside that even when it comes, it will be garbage.
