I'm a 33 year old doctor and I'm proud to say I'm a BTS fan since 2016 and i've used some of their inspirational and healing lyrics to comfort few of my patients and it worked. They helped me so much to become a better person and I know i'll keep supporting them forever. I've been to 3 of their concerts and it was one of the most beautiful moments in my life. I recommend to watch their lives performances. It's amazing.

The teacher, Curtis is awesome! He really gets it. I can see him going and watching videos to better understand the lyrics of BTS songs which is a must for a few of them. Also, it was great of Nick to show BTS content to people who had never heard or seen their stuff. This allows them to get a better understanding of why they have so many fans.

Standard ticket prices arent that high. The resell ticket prices can be through the roof!! One thing to remember is that there are no bad seats at a BTS concert. I saw them from the nosebleeds at MetLife Stadium for under $100 and it was one of the best nights of my life (Im 47). We has SRO tickets for the 2020 tour at Washington Football Stadium but of course that was cancelled. Those tickets were also under $100. Im hoping they tour next year. I cant wait!!

  • @racheljerusha

The upcoming BTS concert in LA, the ticket prices ranged from $60 to $450. Ticketmaster did their best to keep bots (by ticket brokers) from buying tickets, but it's hard to avoid. Also season ticket holders for the SoFi stadium get presale perks, so a lot of those people knew they could make money off reselling their tickets. So any tickets that are on sale now for insane $$$$ are all resale prices. The seats that I got for $185 are reselling for up to $3000. That's a crazy mark-up by greedy people and it's really upsetting.

I live in Los Angeles County but couldn't afford to buy the ticket to go. I would love to do a meet and greet with you guys. My son, who lives in New York, went to BTS's concert in New Jersey. His friend was lucky enough to get tickets (My son said it wasn't cheap). He took a few mini videos of the concert with his phone. He had great seats and he said the concert was absolutely amazing. The energy, passion, and love in the place was overwhelming. I'm 48 years old and became an Army in 2017. I came across a video of them performing DNA at the AMA. A few months before that I had quit my new job to take care of my Mother-In-Law who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I started listening to more of their music and it was the therapy and outlet I needed to get through such a hard time. She passed away a year later. Their music and BTS Run gave me the laughter and escapism I needed while my mother-in-law slept. It kept me sane and kept me "fighting" (a word BTS uses often) so I could take care of her and the rest of the family.

58 y/o mom from the Philippines 😉. It took awhile for me to realize & consider myself to be Army bec I thought I had to literally register as a member, I was just appreciating and loving BTS' music bec of their lyrics, catchy melodies, choreo and the boys' personalities. It's very rare to see artists remaining genuine and humble as their fame & popularity skyrocket but they stayed true to themselves and they walk the talk. So I stayed as a fan and the army considered me to be a part of them too 🙂. Of course there will be some toxic encounters with some very passionate fans but I've learned to respect and accept that fact bec there are also very welcoming people in the Army. Thanks for sharing this content to us outside of Patreon.

We, as ARMY, are here to amplify and represent that. So it is extremely satisfying when we are SEEN for who and what we are as opposed to the 10 people who are toxic and ignorant and get the most attention. So THANK YOU! 💜

Suga collaborated with Max and did a song called Blueberry Eyes.
Since this video, BTS has had 5 number 1 debuts on the BB Hot 100's. Butter had 8 consecutive weeks and 10 total weeks at #1 on the Hot 100. Here are all of their #1 Hot 100's:
    1 - Dynamite
2 - Savage Love remix - Jason Derulo, BTS (not a BTS debut)
    3 - Life Goes On
    4 - Butter
    5 - Permission To Dance
    6 - My Universe - Coldplay X BTS
*I WILL BE GOING TO MY FIRST BTS CONCERT IN DECEMBER*
About the concert tickets. The most recent concert that had a pre-sale is the Los Angeles Concert Nov. 27, 28, Dec. 1, 2. 2021. They had a 4 day pre-sale and the prices were reasonable. I paid $272 each plus fees for 4 tickets on the floor, during the Global ARMY Verified Fan Pre-sale. I paid about $1300 total for 4 tickets. The tickets were sold out by the end of the pre-sale, and any tickets that were sold after that, are resale tickets, and the prices are outrageously expensive. Those are basically scalpers. BTS/Big Hit are fair when it comes to setting concert ticket prices, they ran from $60 for the nosebleeds to $500 for VIP's. The thousands of dollars for ticket prices are the greedy people that are charging the crazy prices to make money off of BTS fans.

The bigger BTS gets, ARMY grows exponentially and, unfortunately, the number of toxic so-called fans increases as well. Thank you for recognizing that toxicity exists in every fandom...in every large group really...and trying to look beyond it. The upcoming concerts at SOFI will be my first-ever full-on BTS concerts and I'm so excited. I've heard some of the most amazing stories of ARMY camaraderie but I've also heard of some awful experiences. Luckily, I'm going with IRL friends who are also ARMYs and we're all looking forward to an amazing time while still being fully aware of certain realities. And don't worry....a new album is coming and, with that, I'm almost 100% sure a new tour. You guys will have your chance. Thank you for sharing your journeys. It's always satisfying to see when that light finally clicks within someone who is TRULY seeing BTS for what they are and not what was originally preconceived. By the way, I'm a 48-yr-old American and not ashamed to tell people that I'm a huge fan of this group. And, yes, I did buy the Samsung phone (even though I've been an iphone user for years). Will I be getting a Hyundai Palisade as my next ride? Mmmmm, we'll see. lol

Thank you for another thought provoking video about the amazing BTS army!
When I first learnt about BTS army's breadth & depth, how organized they were and are with their projects and how they support & protect BTS by patiently providing factual truth eg writing a white paper to provide historical documentation about a specific political issue all done very professionally- I was extremely impressed and astounded.
A great number of these BTS army are professionals (academics, journalists, lawyers, doctors, writers, engineers etc etc) who take time out of their hectic schedules to translate BTS songs, resources, documents from Korean to multiple languages to share with the rest of the ARMY fandom.
Then there's all the charity projects that rival NGO work. I have never seen the like of this kind of selfless commitment to such young artists and what BTS stands for. Quite inspirational!
Yes there are literally millions of BTS Army - such glorious diversity! As many have said, all fandoms will have its fair share of people who behave appallingly. Not everyone self reflects and has the insight to be aware of one's biases & unconscious prejudices and commits to correcting these biases thru self development and growth. It is not easy because this requires utmost humility. An easy thing to say but not to do.
I don't think the negative comments seen in various social media platforms come close to representing the real Army numbers - who they are, their thoughts and their voice. The genuine ones are too busy making incredible changes in our world, contributing to society amidst all the challenges we are facing and improving the lives of others. Some are literally too busy saving lives during this pandemic.
From what I can observe on social media platforms, those who are able to leave comments behave considerately, are kind, think critically and objectively. They respect differing opinions and are wise.
Unfortunately, there will be those in minority who claim to be Army who will spread irrational negativity under the guise of protecting specific BTS members they like or defending the entire group yet not really understanding that their quick judgment, retaliatory anger & vitriolic language reflects who they are instead. It only shows that these fans still need to mature so if they genuinely care about BTS and what BTS believes in and fights for, then they need to reflect on their actions.
We can all choose to be kind in thought and deed. Best wishes.

Definitely some of us are not teenyboppers. The 1st record I bought with my own money was Elvis’s Hearbreak Hotel, when it first came out. But, the biggest difference in BTS is how they actually acknowledge their fans. This is the first time I have understood there could be a symbiosis between an artist and their fans, especially when the artist has high ideals and expects them in their fans. This is the first time I have ever felt welcomed into a fandom.
It is such a pleasure to find people as they discover BTS. The greatest thing about CZcams is that a person can find someone that is an interesting reacter and you can go back and follow their journey as they find their way. I have had a great time following your journey which has mirrored mine. I have and can manage only an online concert. I’ve had a great time with 2 of them.
I discovered BTS around the end of last April, 2021. I fell into Dynamite. I knew of the group. I was bored on a Saturday and decided to look at some of their stuff. I had seen a few reactions previously to Queen, but I had no idea that reactions were a Thing! Let’s just say my universe exploded. How utterly unexpected and lovely! Enjoy your channel and opinions as well. Thanks for the video on Army.

Now that Curtis has mentioned that with army it's like Christmas but everyday, I just realized yeah it actually is. BTS always puts out contents for the fans, non-stop. And with army communities, there's always this festive mood almost everyday, esp when there's new content. And even when there's none, which is very rare, we just think of cool stuff to do like trend and chart an old album or their whole discography. Since the whole BTS army is a huge worldwide family, everyone talks like we know each other, despite the language barrier, we do understand each other a lot. We call out problematic armys too and educate those who need it.
Thanks Nick for helping us spread BTS music cause they're really something else. I know you know what I'm talking about, being an army yourself. In my experience, talking about BTS to a non-fan is like talking about a unicorn or a mermaid. You start talking about how amazing they are, but you sound like a bewitched, obsessed person to them. So these days, I just shut my mouth, show them mvs and let them listen to the music themselves. Then answer their questions if they have any. We don't mind if people just don't consider bts music their cup of tea. Contrary to what some people like to believe, that's definitely alright with the army in general. Problem starts when those people start being disrespectful. And yeah, I love how it's slowly growing on Jeric. It's ok if he didn't like some songs, knowing that he no longer thinks bts is over rated is enough for me. I'm happy how he's gradually opening up to bts.
As always, thank you guys! Thank you so much really from people who couldn't get on Patreon esp. I'm excited for your future bts reactions. Borahae 💜

Being a 7 year long fan and now a 29 year old, I've grown up with their music and inspired me to become a teacher. All these years, the fandom's support kept me going as well. BTS inspired me to become a teacher and though its hard, they really help you get out of your dark zone. We've seen how human the members of BTS are and as they hustled through their teen+youth, so did I. They never let feel alone and is hope they keep giving the same feeling to everyone. Its easy to hate on people different than you, its so much harder to forgive them and just do good for everyone around you. BTS showed me how and proved to me that there were amazing artists and people left around the world.

BTS concert is an ultimate experience. there's no bad seat in their concert so even farther seats sells out fast. One thing didn't change that much about BTS is their concert price. Their concerts are indeed worth thousands of dollars but unlike other artists they don't keep the price that high. It's actually around $300 to $400 at max. It the resellers who for own benefits buy and sales BTS concert tickets in damn high price. And this time even read that Ticketmaster (from where audience bought tickets for concert) themselves are also part of it. Because of this many who wants to attend couldn't get tickets or some waits till they (ticket counter) solves the problem and makes seats available again with affordable price or some ends up buying in high price.

Redemption 46, I hope one day that you all will be able to go to K-pop concert or a BTS concert especially a BTS concert since I’ve only been to one and that was pre-Covid I couldn’t get tickets for the LA Sofi arena they sold out so quickly but even their online concerts are great and I’m sure there’s going to be BTS ARMY with their cell phones taking part in sharing it with the other BTS ARMY loading up on CZcams! One thing that I do love about the fandom is that we are all diverse and no matter what walk of life we come from what racial background with religious political age group that we come from this fandom has open arms to everyone everyone is included no one is excluded from the fandom! The last concert that I attended BTS was July 2019 and that was the Chicago soldier Field it was raining but we didn’t care we loved our boys singing to us and the choreography was wonderful they spoke to us and gave a great performance as well as caring words and thoughts to BTS ARMIES! One thing I can say about their concerts as you meet every type of person their moms and dads, grandma and grandpa’s teenagers people in their 20s 30s 40s 50s etc. every racial background sexual orientation and it becomes this one united love for humanity in that stadium! So hopefully one day redemption 46 will see you at a BTS concert and you’ll be able to talk about that experience on your CZcams channel! I may not always agree with your opinions but I respect them but I also respect the fact that you give the opportunity to other people to come on and react to K-pop and BTS and they’re learning and you’re teaching them that people have never heard of K-pop before or BTS! I just want to say a very heartfelt thank you and God bless you and keep you healthy and I’ll see you in the next reaction💜✌️🙏🏼👍

#Redeemers My first BTS experience was beyond unbelievable. I've been a kpop multi-stan since Psy came on the scene back in the day, and I've never looked back. My first BTS concerts was at the Rose Bowl and Kcon in California. Everyone there I met were so nice and helpful and so informative about the members that I've even made some life long friends that flew all the way from SK just for the concert. BTS and Kpop really as a whole changed my life and help me love myself better and be a human being.

I really liked your reaction, it was really nice, ARMY is really a global community that wants to spread more positivity but also to give everyone the chance to find themselves, to evolve, to grow and to learn, to one day be the best version of yourself and be happy.
I hope you will discover more about the group, their hardships in particular (update 2021) which really highlights the problems that BTS still faces today, specially the global racism.
I also hope you get to check out more of their solo songs, you reacted to a lot of Jimin's video which is really great, but I can't wait for you to check them all out on stage, they all are amazing performers.
