A friend turned me on to this album. I love the album from front to back. His voice reminds me of Rob Dickenson of the Catherine Wheel.
Elbow is a pretty cool band. They are mellow at times but have a very optimistic vibe to them that is addictive. When I saw them open for Coldplay, I personally thought they outperformed the main act. If you like them, these bands would be right down that alley as well.

I think you’d much prefer the smoother vocals on Powder Blue, Scattered black and whites, Red or Weather to fly - based on how much you liked the second part of Fly Boy Blue / Lunette, the song you listened to first

The Seldom Seen Kid is a masterpiece of an album, not one bad track on the whole thing
Different side to them but check out Lippy kids, or Great expectations. the music is beautify, i know you said you are not a lyric guy in the other video, but if you've been a teenager (or know some), or been in love the lyrics are beautiful too. similar for scattered black and whites. Loneliness of a tower crane driver is cool, especially the abbey road version with bbc orchestra. Open arms and one day like this are festival singalong anthems.
Check out Kindling, from the album 'Little Fictions' - there is a fantastic video on this platform featuring John Grant. If you don't get emotional listening to, and watching, that video you are maybe dead inside.
