Toot of the horn made so many kids smile throughout time. Lost days my friends. Families, men, traditions.

Miss ol Big Blue, and that's a big statement coming from an old Erie Lackawanna fan! Many of those pusher sets were ex-EL SD-45's w/their oversize fuel tanks. Nice to see cabooses too.

Wish I was old enough and able to get some photos of Conrail. This was a great video yo come across. I was actually taking the loco numbers and googling them. A lot of old EL, PC under those blue coats.

I miss big blue ! I visited the curve in 1992 and have some photographs. I think intermodal has come a long in that so many trucking firms use rail intermodal. It’s also interesting that the international containers are being moved with their chassis. Can’t help but noticing the lack of graffiti. The units look dated compared to what we have now, but then then what will they look like in2055! Appreciate the nostalgia, thanks.
