Mahindra is back with a bang !! Just Wow I am impressed, the designs definitely look futuristic and class apart. Hope the production versions are close to what we saw today. I am more impressed with the skate board technology developed by M&M instead of going electric the conventional way using current platforms. Truly an engineering feat for an Indian company. Tata is also expected to launch futuristic models using the skate board they have developed in-house. Certainly exciting times ahead.

Looks far far far more futuristic and better than Tesla , Lucid Air and all the other EVs out there and I can't believe I am saying this but if these go on sale as it is now than India will have the best selling EV manufacturer in the form of Mahindra. One of them looks like a Space Rover, imagine that on road. I only hope that India govt can give Mahindra reasonable subsidies on their vehicles so that Mahindra can keep an affordable pricing without losing on the material quality and can help Mahindra to help India become the leading players on the EV market.

I hope they go global with EV's but if they are launching after 3 years like they are planning to then it will be too late in E.U and North American market. India needs to become an exporting country to create enough jobs to take advantage of demographic dividend. EV's are perfect launching point for these companies since they have bit of parity with other companies.

Mahindra should learn from BYD and copy BYD’s strategy of vertical integration. Mahindra should develop batteries, motor and controllers and create its own skateboard designs - this strategy helps to build economies of scale. The current idea of depending on VW for electric skateboard will not work in the long run.
Just for comparison, in June 2022, BYD sold more electric cars than what India has sold in last 10 years!
