It's never easy to take new pathways that you never have gone before and taking awsome oppurinites that makes you happy by yourself. Also to leave your own familly (The Ohanna Adventures) out for 6 whole months in Brazil. So fair play to you, and good luck in Brazil. I know in some stage that you will be homesick, but I know you will get through this.

Prior to serving a Mission, missionaries have a preparation period where they learn more about teaching others about Christ and sometimes better learning their language too, because you do not always speak your home language. At this current time, this training period is online and she is able to stay with her family at home until she officially leaves for her assigned area.

I love your videos and I like how much you have accomplished me I could probably I'm only 12 so what is your advice and I like to say I am grateful thankful and blessed to still be here because when I was a baby up to 5 years old I was homeless but soon as I turned 5 years old another car hit the back of my mom's car and we went into the ditch and I almost went through the window that's my brother Zachary Saved Me by pulling my hair and my brother Thomas he saved me when I first turned 12 years old when we were going through a hard time so when we were at Pat's house her son Randy offered to let us swim in his pool and I almost drowned and my brother Thomas pulled me up so I'm grateful to have two brothers that helped me both times so I want to say I'm thinking God for what I have every single day and I'm thinking my grandfather too because he was the one that took me off the streets and he also took my brother's off the streets as well with me so I am so grateful thankful and blessed for everything I have and I am in chorus I've been singing for one year now and now I am in 7th grade and 12 and 1/2 years old and I am going on to 13 years old and I am a girl and I am really glad you have your videos you make me laugh when I am down so keep it up and my advice to you guys is what you believe you can achieve and never give up got may God bless everybody that you can bye guys

I am confused. Did you go far away because it seems like you stayed home to do your missionary work. Many people go far away so I am not sure what you did. Going far away for 18 months is very hard and not something that I would be comfortable doing since I never have been away from home even though I am 38 years old.
Because of Covid protocols, missionaries do home mtc for a couple weeks. And like she said, Klai also had to wait for all the visa stuff to be settled.
I'm also confused, what is exactly missionary?? I'm 38 also. Can't work as I'm on disability. I don't get these missionary career

what is the difference between Mormon and Christianity? just curious! :)
@Katelyn Brady Mormons believe that their good works can save them from their sin, while Christians believe that faith in Jesus alone is what saves them from their sins. Mormons also believe that they can achieve godhood if they do the good works they are supposed to do. Christianity believes that faith is based on what we do know. We know that Jesus died and rose again for our sins. That is our faith. Mormons believe that faith is not based on knowledge.
Mormons are an extreme (mainly American) branch of Christianity that is not representative of the majority of Christinas. Mormons follow strict beliefs and often have large religious families in the South of the USA.
Hey Katelyn! I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (most people refer to us as "Mormons", though a couple years ago, we officially stopped going by that nickname). I just wanted to reply to your comment as I have been born and baptized into the church, and I can provide you with accurate information of what we believe. I'm sure the previous commenters explained our beliefs to the best of *their* abilities, but both explanations are inaccurate. But, no worries, I just want to shed an accurate light for you of what we believe in.
Anyways, we believe in God, the Eternal Father and in His Son, Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost! We believe they are 3 separate beings, as well. (To my understanding, I think most christian churches/non-denominational churches believe in the Trinity, which is a difference between us and other christians.) We believe in 4 main principles of the gospel which are (first) Faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ, (second) repentance, (third) baptism by immersion for the remission of sins, and (fourth) the gift of the Holy Ghost, given by the laying on of hands (laying on of hands means given by the power of the priesthood).
There are many aspects of our religion and things we believe, but at the head of our religion are Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Many people think we believe in a "different Jesus", due to the difference in our beliefs of HF, JC and HG being 3 separate beings vs the common belief of the Trinity. But, we believe in the same Jesus and God as other Christians. We do NOT believe we have to perform works, even though from an outside perspective of someone who isn't a member of our church, it may look that way. But, that is a false teaching people spread around about our church.
Personally, I like to think of Christianity as a huge umbrella, and under the umbrella are so many different groups of people and churches. There are non-denominational believers, Catholics, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (AKA Mormons), Baptists, and the list goes on-and-on of people who believe in Jesus Christ! Members of our church are Christians because of our belief in and of Jesus Christ, but like any other church, there are just some differences in how we worship Him.
A couple things I love about my religion is that we believe in eternal families, and we have the Book of Mormon! We have temples all across the world that worthy members have the ability to perform sacred ordinances and covenants with God and Jesus Christ. One of many ordinances we make in the temple are temple marriages which seals a couple together (and their future children are sealed to the parents as a family unit) for all time and eternity. We don't believe in "til death do us part" which brings so much comfort knowing that even after this life, we will be with our families for eternity. And, like I mentioned above, we have the Book of Mormon which is another testament of Jesus Christ. We hold the Book of Mormon and Holy Bible as equals in our religion, as long as the Bible is translated correctly. On the cover of the BOM, it literally says "Another Testament of Jesus Christ", so it testifies of Jesus Christ and His life just like the Holy Bible.
Anyways, I hope this mini explanation of our religion helped you gain insight to what we believe and how we may differ from other christians. Overall, we are christians and there is no "mormons vs christians" argument because we are all on the same side, if that makes sense! Sorry this is a bit long, but have a lovely night!

So as said in the video it’s something we do in our religion where we choose to do, god chooses where you go and our leaders receive the message from god and missionaries knock on doors and ask if they can help with things and do Service and mainly teach people in a kind and welcoming way about the gods me and of god

Well missionaries in their church are required to wear their name tags at all times in public, and since this video is being publicly posted she most likely did it for that reason :)

Covid protocols kinda changed things. Since Covid, their church transitioned to an at-home MTC practice. Missionaries do some training at home for a little bit before they are able to go to their assigned area. Plus with the Visa issues, Klai had to wait for those documents to be done before she could go to Brazil.
