I never expected Air Crash Investigation to cover on this particular accident, since they already did on JT610 (which was also involved in a similar circumstance).

It's quite sad this plane crashed to MCAS failuire since boeing put specific things to do in this situation after flight 610.

I think its just because Airbus re-engined the A320 so that Boeing could do the same way as the 737 without noticing how low the plane (737) itself was.
Adding software (MCAS) to your plane and making the FAA approve to hide the safety feature is stupid imo

The guy we needed the most has came back
The plane crashed due to faulty MCAS. The MCAS was pushing the plane's nose towards the ground. The pilots flipped a switch to disabled the electrical trim system which also shut down the ability to neutralize the vertical stabilizer. When the captain turned back the system, the MCAS activated again, pushing the plane's nose towards the ground, crashing it.
149 passengers and 8 crew members lost their lives. No survivors.

The 737 MAX operated by Ethiopian Airlines, The pilot did turn off MCAS but the 737 MAX Was overspeeding and hit the ground in like 500-600 mph/Mach 1 causing no explosion

If it wouldve been 900 knots, there was no way it would stay intact while falling

Maybe in that plane the pilot just gave up, maybe he said this because Boeing made us die, I'm sincere, the pilot said it in his heart. 😢
I never knew the plane didn’t explode upon impact. No wonder why there was no sign of fire or explosion at the crash site.
Edit 1: Maybe this animation is wrong, but the crash site photos show much of the wreckage wasn’t burned.
Edit 2: The plane did crash with no explosion and fire. But the plane dived faster than in this animation.

I knew someone in this plane. Samya Stumo a beautiful young woman who was just trying to make a positive difference in the world.
You can see a Garuda Indonesia Boeing 737-300 at the background in 0:10 , but this incident happened in 2019. Garuda Indonesia retired their Boeing 737-300 and 400 fleet in 2010, and the livery changed at that time. Also Garuda Indonesia never flow to Bole International Airport

I once heard a story that the Ethiopian investigators asked European investigators to help them instead of NTSB, out of fear that NTSB would cover-up the crash, I don't know if this is true or not though, Also i havent watched the episode

Idk if I am wrong or the animation is but weren't the pilots able to regain control and pull up but it was too late? It didn't show that in the animation
They reactivated the MCAS after that because they could not move the trim due to their speed so that’s why they dived and the MCAS is way more powerful than the control wheel

I flew once with Ethiopian. upon landing in Harare a tyre went bust and smoke were all over the place outside the aircraft. the crew didn't nothing, no announcements, no advise...after 10min they asked us to sit down to taxi to the stand. if we would have had a fire on board we would all be dead.

I honestly liked the animation style of the planes better from season 4 to season 17, and from then on I don't feel like I'm really seeing a representation of these accidents, maybe it's because they ran out of budget or not. They wanted to do something better than what they did in previous seasons, but here they only put flat terrain as if there were no separate city, the climates make them very colorful, and as far as I remember, each episode of the past seasons had colorful climates with less contrast to make them more serious, although what I don't like about these last seasons is that they always focus on the plane, the camera always moves repetitively, I would prefer that the creators of air crash investigation could work hard again to give us a good detailed animation ,and no, something very simple so to speak
Bro Aeromexico 498’s animation is worse than this, they got flat maps in 498 while they got 3D terrain and buildings in 302
What do you mean? Season 24 is just as detailed as the rest, we have detailed explosions, particles, and other stuff

The sad thing is that the pilots were able to deactivate the mcas, but it was too late to save the plane
Well they deactivated the MCAS well before the final dive but they re enabled the MCAS and it sealed their fate
