Under the tree is actually a ending, is the credit song of the first special.
That explains why we never noticed it before!

Hey don't know if you guys knew this but the dinosaurs and all the animals they flash on the screen and run beside the beast titan are supposed to be all the past generations of the forms the beast titans
I believe that it's actually supposed to signify the titans' connection to the source of all life, in turn connecting them to all life forms, past and present
That makes sense. I was always disappointed that we never saw the other animal titans lmao
Mikasa also has an ending too that will make you bawl your eyes out lol. Played the instrumental version of it at my wedding, beautifully heartbreaking
titan dinosaur is most likely a reference to the fact that the titan beast had many variations, for example we saw a couple of them: ram, crocodile, snake

Dinosaurs in the op 3 along with Zeke and all animals, are forms of the beast titans throughout history. Zeke's titan was a monkey, Zeke's teacher was a sheep, and Falco was a bird. We also saw a giant in the form of a dog
For the opening 2, there is a moment when it's written : What sings is Sieg . And it's a foreshadowing to the season 2 because the word sieg is victory in german but it's the name of the Beast titan too. I'm French and I think in the English Version the name is Zeke.
