RA is a great band. They have made songs like I’ve never heard before but really it’s his voice that captivates me.
This song is stuck in my head and on constant replay. I don't mind at all. "If you hold a knife to the world, it will always be your enemy" is something people really need to hear with everything going on in the world. Too many people are constantly looking for and creating conflict. This album has been a great escape from the s@$t show. Thank you Ra!
It makes me sad to have only discovered this band this year. I wish so badly I could see them live from the front row. guess it will have to be in my heaven before i see this band live in person. can I get them to play my birthday party next year? this band should have been metallica and shinedown famous.
Ticotin has such a unique timbre to his voice. ive yet to hear him sing something that wasnt instantly a hit :)
I fell into Ra by accident: an old friend popped the cd in my car, and it wouldn’t spit back out. Their debut album played on repeat for almost a year. Since then, You guys have always had a soft spot. I can explain what your music means to me to my friends but nobody would ever understand.

These last 3 singles have been really great, and this coming from a fan since 2001. The major 6th that happens on the word "knife" permits the chromatic descent leading to a 1 6/4 chord, which then kinda resolves to this implied maj7th tonality, super cool/interesting,. The verses/chorus feel well developed, with a kind of djent feel in the verse, which is nice and refreshing. Typical, easy to hum, "Sahaj brand" chorus too, which is a solid anchor for this tune. Really looking forward to the album!!

And honestly I don't know what happened, but I lost track of you guys and this is the 2nd song since binging on that album I've heard from you guys. I just listened to Intercorrupted before this song. It's excellent and I loved the video! I'm glad you are still around making killer music! I'm sad I lost track of you guys, though.

I think this is the best song on the record from a songwriting and lyrical content standpoint. It's just good simple easy to digest and connect with. The chorus has the feels.

From One and Critical Mass much better for me, this album is mostly hit or miss...sadly, not much bangers, too many slow songs, you used to be nu-metal guys, what's going on?

@@Sungodrock I get it guys, you wanna grow and get a bigger audience, it's respectable ❤️ I will give it more listens overall and maybe I'll change my views and verdict on it, I don't say it's a bad album, it's one of the weaker for me personally, BUT there are still really damn good tracks, which I already commented :)
@@Sungodrock intercorrupted is pretty thick and sick. I'm a bit older myself, but it still got some bang to it. Honestly man, this isn't so far out and away from older Ra. They've always had some melodic tracks with heavy hooks.
That being said, if you dropped do you call my name, or broken hearted soul, or the only one, etc today, they'd all sound fresh af. Don't sell yourselves short man. I'm sure every Ra fan loves a straight up banger, but I've never thought of you guys as one genre to pigeon hole myself into thinking every album is going to be hardcore. Ra and starset along with some other bands I enjoy, give me a mixed tape kinda feel when I hear about a new album coming up. Too much musical talent to have every song just full out chugging. However, there isn't much out there like those thick ass older ra bass lines and fat meaty guitars tho, so I get where physadelic digital coming from.
Don't think Ra has ever really sounded Nu Metal imo. Critical Mass is also my favorite. It's pure adrenaline. You should listen to this album. Each sing a few times. They may grow on you. I myself prefer the more adrenalized stuff but each album is different. Thats what keeps it interesting. Some of it i love some of it i don't but regardless they have a good variey for us adrenalin junkies and for the softer folks.
