To be honest, I guess the other reason why the European Nations refuse to help America was because during the last war all America ever provided was a Mechanic with a Southern accent! XD
Well, Tanya is American and she's also in the 1st game, but they say she's officially a civilian so likely she's a volunteer from the US. It seems much like in our timeline, the US drags it's feet to join the war but provides vital weapons and resources to it's allies. This time though, the US never formally declares. After the war though, it seems the US took the main role in the peace talks because Dougan directly says he put Romanov into office. That would be very similar to how WWI played out in both timelines, but that was in part because the current president was Woodrow Wilson, who was so full of himself he just *had* to leverage everything he could during the peace talks. I guess Dougan must have been a more modern version of him. Or, maybe perhaps the allied powers in RA1 placed an ineffectual ruler in stalin's place and only later Dougan put Romanov in power, which would make the European Allies even more pissed since this would all be Dougan's fault. As wacky and nonsensical as RA2 is it does have some fine detail in it's plot to analyze at the very least.

I still love how the original Red Alert was the divergence point. With the Allied victory being the start of the Red Alert timeline and the Soviet victory being the true beginning to the Tiberian timeline.

Didn't understand much of a story then, but then I saw the intro in form of a promo material on another westwood game disc. Damn that intro was so great the first time I saw it, I knew I had to play the game with all the videos.
There could be an expansion for Kane's wrath, or a new title after Tiberium Twilight, activation of the tower, "visitors" return, but no Tiberium left on planet, so they have a new mission, or capture, torture or return of Kane. Just a thought...

***** Yuri only destroyed the nukes from one single nuclear silo facility. When in fact America has way more nuclear missiles stashed in almost every state including Alaska and Texas. So one missile silo was taken out by Yuri. Oops I guess that means we can't use the six billion other silos we have. Not to mention in the prequel the Soviets have nukes and the Iron Curtain. The Allies had the Chronosphere and nuke silos. Are you seriously telling me they just couldn't build more nukes? Also, I'm pretty sure that the UK has nukes, France has nukes, yet they're never used. As I said it's a massive plot hole. Not to mention the Chrono tank or the phase transport was never seen from again. Oh we can make tanks invisible and teleport? Pfft, why should anyone fund that? There's more than one plot hole, unfortunately, but the nukes are just the biggest one. Speaking of plot holes, assuming this entire time line is linear, Red Alert 3 should never be considered cannon, due to the fact that Einstein in the original Red Alert used time travel to remove Adolf Hitler, thus starting the war between the Allies and Soviets. In Red Alert 3 Soviets developed time travel and removed Albert Einstein before he was able to develop his Chronosphere and go back in time to stop Adolf Hitler being removed from the space time continuum to begin with. This isn't just a plot hole, it's a total paradox that should of destroyed their universe entirely. The entire universe in Red Alert 3 should of just collapsed in on itself. With big giant red words that say "does not compute".
