Thats a weekend start one of my favorites .I played the thats the way it is album 1000 of times in my school days when everybody else whas into disco punk heavy metal etc i never left my Elvis cause i saw it as a sin when i would play something else as him, Anyway the other artists didnt give me that spirit that i found in Elvis .i knew this whas forever.thanks Michelle.

Love this one Michelle so romantic ! Just watched Baz Luhrmann interviewing Sam Bell Elvis childhood friend from Tupelo .
Was great Baz Luhrmann spent time with Sam Bell learning about Elvis growing up and the music that inspired Elvis life and career Was posted on Kyle Slingo channel on You Tube .
Its wonderful interview sadly probably Sam Bells last interview ! He passed in Sept 2021. You may want to check video out. Tks for all your efforts Michelle sharing your Evis journeys with us. Another Elvis childhood friend Guy Harris passed away also. Not many still around that knew Elvis.

Ah hearing you talk about elvis going to Memphis when you were younger and doing all the elvis stuff I didn't get into elvis till I was 30 I used to Mainley listen to thencno music go to raves and I'd think elvis was outdated ,but when I was 30 I sat through the aloha concert with my nan I was mesmerized I got everything to do with elvis from there and still pick up stuff when I can ,I'm a fan for life so glad I did watch that concert better late than ever love his music and that song peace,TCB

If its any conserlation Michelle In The Morning would have worked I am sure Elvis was thinking that when he sang it but hey you got to go with what lyrics are written down right hehe 😀. Its a real pretty song but when I hear it I cant help seeing the funny start from TTWII when he is playing around with the guys and throwing water and just having a ball, and for that reason I never see it for the beauty of the ballad it is. I absolutely love this performance,
it's really only known to the fans, which is a shame. Also if you ever check out smooth radio top 500 Artist and Songs that the public vote online (they do this about 4 or 5 times a year) non of Elvis's early massive sellers sellers charts. But 'Can't Help Falling In Love, Suspicious Minds and Always On My Mind do. Although he has now slipped out of the top 10 and now languishes between 30 - 70,thats only in the last 3 years... not enough fans vote I think. Probably don't even know about it. BTW is That an Elvis On Tour CD that I see in the background and is it great.
