Building a video cable and testing the broken VIC-20

  • I tried to make a repair video about the VIC-20. However, I have to build a video cable for it first. The process is very tedious and takes a long time. Therefore I was unable to do further troubleshooting other than a simple power-up test.

    If the vic-20 you have has a 2pin power input, then the voltage should be 9volts and NOT 15volts.

    Hi again!, I think you could try and remove the rom chip from the vic and read it, I hope it helps
