100% the 921 will go to market. It's too well polished to be a concept. It looked like a pre production model.

Totally agree. Even as an MV owner (with the mental scars to prove it) I love these beautiful looking new machines. Great to see at least one manufacturer pushing the envelope style wise when nearly every other one is playing safe.
Just hope the KTM money and management know how will mean the production versions hit the road sooner & are flawlessly finished. But how many times have we said that before? 😂

I know MV was the Alpha Romeo of the cycle world but man do they build beautiful bikes. If KTM throws some consistency and reliability in them they'll be even more desirable w/o the sleepless nights. I have a friend who owned a Dragster and I loved the styling even more then my Panigale....he did have a love and hate relationship with it for sure lol.

I think the days of, Spend all their money, look for someone to buy the company or give the company more money, Spend all that money, buy the company back for one Euro, repeat, Are over. Sardarov is concentrating on making money and getting market share.
What are you talking about? KTM money? They only did a deal for 25% in order to improve the dealer network and slightly improve purchasing power. They were doing very well, designing really high quality and reliable bikes for a long time. They've been well budgeted since their ownership changed in ~ 2016.
All other brands and even the largest automotive manufacturers seek financing and form partnerships with other companies all the time. Volkswagen constantly negotiates massive financing deals from their financiers, even needs to constantly get propped up by their government. Toyota developed their Supra sports car by basically contracting the work to be done by BMW and manufacturing by Magna.
That concept bike is totally insane, in the most beautiful way. How proud would you be to walk up to that bike every single time. A bike you would literally park in the front room!
MV is currently one of the few companies that are pushing design boundaries, it's quite refreshing. I would tone down a couple of things, especially on that naked (red sub frame + swingarm).
There are other brands more exclusive than MV, with nice design and noble material

Went to the factory in 2015. Could eat your lunch off the tiled floors. Did they run up anything on the rolling road while you were there? They ran up the Corse Superbike replica for us, and opened the double-glazed door as for greater effect. Oh my, what a glorious sound. Spontaneous applause from our tour group followed…

I'm a fan of MV Agusta, and under the ownership of Timur Sardarov, they improve every year. Their designs have always been "Motorcycle Art" and IMO, no other manufacture comes close, although the other Italian companies do put out some art of their own. These bikes are a "modern retro" style which for me is an oxymoron. They are head turners and they do perform as advertised, but for me it's like trying to put your arms around a memory. I'm glad they are bringing back the Cagiva name plate, this bike deserves it's own marque.

I am the lucky owner of a F4 1000 of 2005, to me the prettiest bike ever built. I am so happy that MV keep proposing wonderful bikes that make everyone dream. I think that they solved their reliability issues and I hope that they will build a good selling network (may be with KTM help) to allow all motorbike enthusiastic to have a MV in their garage
@@peterlokin4098 I think after the development of the Euro 4 versions the reliability has improved on the 3 cylinders. I have an old 4 cylinder (2005) and, for the moment, I have no issues
@@MisterTia76 Waaay back in 02 i bought a F4 750S, not one of the SPRs just the standard full production model, and had some issues, the rear hub self destructed after only 6 months (someone was VERY sparing with the grease at the factory) and at the first big service they found the cams were scored, both were fixed under warranty but it didnt exactly instill confidence.
Had a 2011 Brutale 1090RR. Zero reliability issues. I think they sorted the hub and other issues out around 2008.

921 design is clearly based on the 80's 750 America. Very nice interpretation of a modern café racer. Well done Agusta.

one of my all time dream bikes ever since i stood next to agostini at mallory park in the late 60s awsome and still getting better if its possible to old now to own have to stick with my harley
While ducati is losing it’s soul, MV is still the outrageous manufacturer we all love
so right, Ducati has gone corporate ever since their acquisition by Volkswagen you can see it in the lack of design year after year
Ducati lost its soul ages ago...when MV Agusta sold it and no longer designed and developed the bikes!! It has been owned by Volkswagen for a long time so what did you expect? The least cool brand ever, who wants to ride a Volkswagen??!
For me the Lucky Explorer, I use to own a '96 Cagiva Elefant 900, and the 921s are the ones.
All the bike manufacturers have some level of sensibility built into their bikes. And every now and then, MV Agusta comes up with a new bike that transports us to a world of fantasy, a world where money is no object and gas is free, a world of pure design, engineering and art, free from all corporate intervention and supply/demand curves and environmental policies. It’s why MV is the most desirable. Kudos for being themselves. SV1000 and their 921S concept are by far the best bikes at EICMA

Great review , just love the Superveloce (might have to sell a body part though) also really like the Lucky Explorer 9.5 , as for the 921S , truly awesome , can't wait to see it in the metal. One observation on the new MV's is how come the British Motorcycle media and vloggers weren't invited to the press launch in Milan (have they upset Mr Sardarov ?)

921S. OMG Beautiful. Im almost 70 been rippin since 1980 This Loosely reminds me of the oversized (Euro) Headlight'd the Blue & Silver Yamaha Seca 650 from 1982, which I love! Its gorgeous! It's powerful, no doubt pricey ... but you get what you pay for..
I think that the red subframe and swingarm on the 921 concept are fantastic! Some of the other styling details are just silly (that seat hump has to add weight - and purely for style), but the overall proportions are just about perfect. I just hope the inlet ducting on the tank are fully functional, and properly optimized aerodynamically... :)
The fake exhausts on the Superveloce are a bit naff too.
That Cafe Racer looks sick, I will be watching out for that, love there bikes. Had an F4 and wish I didnt get rid of her.

I tour on an mv veloce and they are like sportbikes with high bars ..beauty and the beast all in one. Their new bikes are so beautiful and they do what their passion tells them and screw the market ...just live the dream and sell only to those who knows.

That MV 921S concept bike reminds me of the Munch Mammoth, except the MV looks sane.....
The Superveloce is pretty rad-I prefer the simplicity of the previous model however.

Yeah the mantle piece would be a good place for that bike after a day in the twisties- use a scissor lift to get it up there.
Love MV. Wish they had a better dealer network in my area. I sold my Brutale mainly because a couple closed up or dropped the MV line. Leaving me with dealer support over 2 hrs away. Sad because it was the best damn bike I ever owned .

Multiple MV owner. Favourite is the original F4 750. Tamburini’s designs are unequalled IMO. Raced the 4 cylinders with no major engine issues, triples seem less reliable. Looking forward to this coming out in standard form. Rumours are the Oro will be €50,000 well beyond my budget 😢

First, I love your channel! I live in Colorado so I am in the canyons leaning over all spring, summer and some fall. My GSXR 1K just got stolen so I need a new bike. I had military plates on it and the bastards didn't give a F. MV's are in my top 3 fav bikes, and I love the concept bike!! I am not a big fan of the cafe racer style bike, but MV crushed it with this one. It would def. be a bike that I would buy. I think it would be a ton of fun on the track as well as in the mountains. Thanks for your great channel.

I saw the Superveloce 1000 at their Milan showroom when they did a special launch a couple of weeks ago - it is very nice machine, Target price we were told is nudging 50K Euros so selling a body organ might be required ;))) I like sports bike so I am not a fan of the 921S but I suspect it might be a bike that "grows" on you and as other people have said kudos to MV for stretching the design boundaries My friend thought it was good - he liked the quirky styling so what do I know....??? :))))

Why is it that every time I see a group test that includes an MV, it either comes last or very near last. I have never ridden an MV but I am curious.
