Man. Archer was the highlight of this omake for half of it, but then Saber COMPLETELY stole the show. I love it--it's so in-character for her. All of that BUDGET just for an omake. How FABULOUS~
Rin Tousaka is not the same as Rin Tohsaka (though the name spelling difference was by Aksys's localizers choosing). Though she says things like "It was a good thing I joined the Holy Grail War -this time-" and during Archer's route she seems inclined to feel somewhat nostalgic around him, she is blatantly said to be different. She also thinks different. She's a freedom fighter with a clear goal and is a genius at Extra's version of Magic Technology ("Spirit Hacking").
It wasn't type-moon's decision not to have English VA. When Capcom did Fate/Unlimited Codes, they decided to keep the Japanese VA. When Aksys brought over Extra, they are the one's that chose not to use English VA. And it's not like the game's sales for either game suffered. In fact, they have been some of the best the PSP has seen in the west. I would be more worried about why Type-Moon hasn't licensed their Carnival Phantasm for an English dub. That would be more important than the games.
Sakura: The game implies Sakura is not only an NPC with advanced AI (though limited to certain questions and situations), but that she also has...interesting predilections (see: her reaction after you peep on Rin/Rani in the nurse's room). This strange ability to be kinda creepy when it comes to sex is likely a major plot point to the theme of "Eros and a woman's passion" in Fate/Extra CCC.
I wouldn't be so hung up on comedic portions of the game. Also it is something to say that there are mysteriously two Sakuras in CCC, we pretty much know next to nothing at this point. Also, Eros means "physical or intimate love", it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with sex.

Shinji, without spoiling anything, is seriously NOT Shinji. There's a reason he acts the way he does and it actually helps you differentiate between the two Shinji's. He's cocky because he's the world's virtual gaming champion (or something like that) and despite being incredibly childish and lacking in magical power he's a master hacker as well (only he's kind of dumb about it).
I know that the are not the same actors, but i just think if type moon is going to have any relevancy here in north America, they got to start hiring English voice actors for all their released works over here.
As somebody who is very deep into Fate/Extra's story and characters (played it 8 times), you can take it from me that Shinji, Sakura, and Rin Tousaka have nothing to do with each other.

Saber, Archer and Caster are not the same people obviously as in FZ. Saber is Emperor Nero, not King Arthur. Archer is (implied to be, but never outright stated to be) Shirou Emiya, like in Fate/stay night (and does retain his stay night voice actor), not Gilgamesh. Caster is Tamamo-no-Mae, obviously not Gilles de Rais. Even if the dub existed at the time (which it didn't), using the english voice actors of Zero wouldn't work except for the sisters, Rin and Sakura.
Exactly, some wonder why even have an english dub if a series. I'll tell you why, it's because that series would get more exposure if it was voiced in english. Do you people would have known what naruto was in the u.s. if were voiced in Japanese when it first came over here?(BTW i hate naruto) Series like this have a better chance of succeeding if it were voiced in english.
