- Solo session at a local beach using @limitlessseafishingltd rod, lines and hooks. Session started with a bang with a first cast seasons best bass. Lots of weed made fishing difficult. Cracking silver that, well done!! I don't think any fair and honest angler should worry about taking their restricted quota of 2 in-size bass per session if they're lucky enough to catch them. As regards which in-size bass to take, surely it doesn't really matter does it? All in-size bass are going to reproduce at some point aren't they? The biggest ones are reproducing now and the medium-sized fish are the future breeders. Just take the odd fish for the table without guilt or apprehension. The sporting rod and line angler out in all weathers and times deserves it. It's the indiscriminate raping of the seas by commercial over-fishing and the damaging effects of pollution that's the problem, not the solitary angler enjoying some time out in wilderness and respecting a food source instead of eating packaged fish or meat without a second thought for it's like like so many of us do!

Lovely Bass, am i right in thinking that the ebb is not so good there? I visited two hours before the ebb last year and it was ripping through and dropping at a hell of a rate. Cheers

Can fish really well 2 hours into the ebb.
Cheers, I’ll be down in a couple of weeks to site my caravan for the season, I’ll give it another go, looks good for lures on the flood, poppers etc or on the fly rod even 👍
