- We recently took a tour of the Keith Kunz Motorsports shop in Columbus, Indiana to take a look at the history the team has made over the past decades and continues to make to this day in USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget racing.

Keith spoke with the medical personnel at Eldora when my friend and I was hit with a sprint car axle in the infield during 4 crown. He made sure they got to us fast. What a true gentleman. I'll always be a KKM fan.
The Man, the myth... the legend.
Could probably make a desk chair a winner.
Thanks for this USAC. These videos are always neat to see the operations side of racing
The logistics of what is involved to run teams of the magnitude is beyond my comprehension
My mum told me as a kid, "motorsport is like having a hole in the backyard and shoveling money into it". 😂. But how much fun can you have doing that 😁. Best to go racing 😄
Love the insight vids, keep 'em coming
Keith was a new midget owner back with only a couple years running, back in 1996, when I was General Manager for Esslinger Engineering. Keith was running our motors back then, and though I only spoke to him a couple times, he was always a class act. I think KKM was one of Dan and Dwayne Esslinger's favorite teams back then. I'd love to see my grand sons earn a seat in a KKM car one day.
#EnglerPower! Nice hoodie!!
I cannot imagine having the kind of money it takes to fund an operation like this! I need to win the lottery
Building a dynasty........as well as a great place for up and coming shoes to add confidence to their carriers.
This team is amazing. I'm curious. Do race winnings and sponsors cover the cost of such a large operation? Does Keith Kunz subsidies the remaining balance? I'm guessing the cost aren't all covered and it's a passion by a man who has the means.
At his level, everything is covered by sponsors
The losses have to be astronomical! Usually business owners will use racing as a write off. Let's face it, the purses haven't changed in 30 years, but the cost of racing has quadrupled easily. Kieth has to love midget racing, because this is definitely not a money making sport!
That hoodie is sick! Anyone have a link for it?
Engler Machine and Tool Princeton Indiana. On Facebook or the web. 812-386-6254
It’s definitely different not seen Big Al and Connor Ridge not in the KKM pit
I would love to have a cold beer with him.
What does it take to be a Sprint car driver for you let me know
so KK racing is only really concerned with is bringing really young kids and developing them?
Remember the name Buddy Kofoid
What ever happened to the young female driver at KKM, Holly Shelton?
She’s racing somewhere else
Does them kids coming in new bring money for a ride and like to see what Toyota pays him for a year
Kunz seems like a great guy, but darn, why Toyota?
The same great people that brought you WWII!!!!
WTF happened to Cannon?!?!?
He decided to race for his dad's team, the Dave Mac Motorsports #08, for the 2021 USAC season.
@@usacracing3402 Gotcha. Teammates with Thorson.
@@usacracing3402 Guess I’m behind on info. Apparently, Thorson is racing for Dave Mac, too.
not a big fan of Thorson, but he is good. Definitely a C Mac fan.
@@mojodoug3 you're having a conversation with yourself, or at best; you and an intern running the site vids.
You have that chili bowl flu dontcha? Tell me the truth now.
Edit. All in jest, context and tone is hard in text.
