One more VERY important thing, the helmet MUST BE APPROVED OF SAFETY STANDARDS. This is very very important. A 500 to 800 rupees helmet would do nothing but add to the rider's damage even worse. Coz’ it, upon collision gets broken down itself and gets into the skull of the rider; for it does not have the capability to withstand impact itself. So, PLEASE wear a DOT certified or an ECE standard qualified helmet. And it is also recommended to keep changing your helmet every 5 years. Spend some money on your LIFE. You buy motorcycles, reserve some amount for your safety as well. May ALLAH be with us all! (Ameen)

My brother u raised a very important point . Most of the people here think is helmet is only for to avoid challan and escape from the police warden thats why they only think about the money not for their life and always buys a cheap helmet.

Well said. Fine presentation indeed. I survived a motorcycle accident back in the early 90's when I had a serious accident riding a motorcycle. I wore a helmet at that time and it cracked when my head hit the road. I wouldn't be alive today if I did not wear helmet on that day. Many thanks. From Canada 🇨🇦.

Excellent work by the Pakwheels Team, especially Sunil Sahib. I travel in between cities often via local roads. In addition to lack of protective gear, bike owners also disregard proper maintenance of their vehicles, including brakes and lights. This poses a far greater threat during night travel as we put our driving etiquettes. and road conditions into the mix. Please do a video for safety for bikers, with emphasis on protective gear, and head/tail lamps. Thank you!

This depends on the parents my father has been wearing helmet and using side mirrors and crashgaurds since I was a kid and now I do the same and feel good about it
As a Doctor myself, I think we should also spread awareness about other important safety accessories apart from helmets. Good quality knee, elbow, arm and legs guards should also be available for riders. Local manufacturing of these things will bring down the cost. Also proper riding suits should be available. There should also be proper training for the riders on how to avoid collisions and in case of an inevitable impact how to get off the bike in a way which is least harmful. Some multinational companies in Pakistan give such trainings to their employees but this training should be commonplace.
