This is my story: 1- I used water hose, no good idea 2- Wasp Killer spray, it works but after a while it loose the effect , then all over again with no permanent solution. 3- Tin foil to block their entrance into the wall, no good either, bees managed to open the way in 4- Crack sealer foam, it works for one day, then I found them flying all over the garage next to my window room and few managed to get inside my room. Panic kicks in. 5-Vacuum cleaner sucking 5 to 7 a day. It works but the stink is bad when you have dead bees in the canister. Still using it for the sake of my wife. So far nobody has been hurt in my family. 6- Glue traps inside the garage near their favorite wall. Works wonderful but they keep coming back , I don’t know from where, since I don’t open the garage, all cracks are sealed, window screen is closed, What I’m missing here? 7- Vinegar and water, a slap in the shoulder, they keep coming back 8- Cinnamon sticks in every corner of the window, apparently bees don’t like and I think it works. Finally I can rest tonight 9-Dawn soap will be my next step. Honestly bees are really hard to get rid off, my respect to nature. Frustration and admiration, love and hate to say the least.
i always knew soapy water will kill them but it keeps them away as well?! thats awesome ive just been trying to pick them off im going to spray my whole house lol

If you write the ingredients of DAWN (and Ivory) as they appear on the label, in the search section of google, you will see that its the same exact ingredients as red fire ant killer. And we use this on our food utensils.
It's not a chemical in Dawn that kills them... it just puts a layer of soap on them that suffocates them and then they die... WD-40... Flex Seal... Hairspray... anything that prevents them from breathing will kill them.

I have alot of wood bees on my balcony, and when I sprayed them with Dawn mixed with water. It look like they were enjoying it some of them were just flying still in mid air as if they thought it was a bath. Smh

I use the dollar liquid dish soap and water then fill up an old kool aid pitcher with a good amount of soap and water then toss all the soapy water on the wasps (in one toss) and they drop to the ground immediately. Some die almost instantly and some crawl around for a sec then die. It works!
You shouldn't be killing bees. We have a bee shortage. You should have called a bee keeper and save the killing for the wasps, yellow jackets and hornets.
