I was working in this movie as a compositor...Adipurush was shoot in blue screen... software used nuke and fusion for stereo conversion (depth)..exr format me render hota he ..in rotoscopy its call..jitter, flicker, wobble (glitch)..Ravan head edges is flickering due to grain issue..to much noisy screen create gittery alpha..which creates flicker in edges..In stereo..lots of sinking and worping. ..if the edges of fg goes in BG its call sinking..and fg is pulling BG part its call worping..in stereo..

Bhai ye to hui stereo conversion ki baat, lekin basic compositing me bhi QC approve kese hua ye samaj nahi aa raha. I have worked at MPC Toronto as a DMP artist and then compositor. Basic comp me bhi grades match nahi ho rahe, lighting conflict kar rhi hai, textures me tiling saaf dikh rahi hai, or itna zyda prep ka kaam, contact shadows literally hand painted hai, CG render me lightwarping kisi or BG ka hai, like seriously?!. Parallax to bhul hi jao, sab kuch sticker jese chipkaya lagta hai. Kahin pe fire ke frames khatam ho gaye kahin pe fog loop pe chal raha hai.
If we think the budget was good then we are wrong, they have shot this film in 3 languages and then converted each of them in 3D. Thats a hell lot of shots! It requires money and many supervisors. I also heard they changed a lot of shots after teaser backlash, thats even more shots again! That too without a singular vision. So in becharo pe gussa karna bewakufi hai, this is just and just lack of conviction and dedicated pre-production. I got to comp few shots in last Spiderman and some shots in latest Indiana Jones, and for all those shots, I did at least 55+ versions. Netflix pe Guillermo del Toro ki Cabinet of Curiosities pe bhi kam kiya hai, uske references ke liye khud Guillermo del Toro research karke aata tha and he had 300+ hand painted references even for simple skies. This is how attached and dedicated they are for a project. Adipurush is a complete lack of conviction from the maker's side, even they were not convinced with what they are making. OMG2 has better camera composition than this, and that was a live action film, jahan camera compostion ki flexiblity tough hoti hai, but in CG you have an open ground to play. Being an Indian this is so painful to watch.

I really wish someone senior from their so called indigenous vfx team watches your video and realizes it's high time they stop making fool of people by saying they don't have hollywood budget. Each and every thing you have mentioned is to the point! I am glad people like you make such videos jisse logo ko bharosa hota hai ki sometimes bollywood just takes VFX for granted jabki it's more of a common sense first then art. 11:30 Just a thought: Raghav's entry scene could have been very effortlessly set in the tadka vadh episode of Ramayana. Like :
(scene 1) a closing in drone shot shows Maharishi Vishwamitra performing a yagya and raghav and sesh are protecting it from two sides. Raghav's back is facing at the camera.
(scene 2) Tadka emerges from the nearby forest and is angered to see him perform the yagya.
(scene 3) She throws a spear at him from a distance.
(scene 4) Two hands draw a bow and release an arrow which cuts down the spear into half while it's midair.
(scene 5) a foot is set on the ground causing a small dust cloud.
(scene 6) Raghav's face is revealed as he comes and stands in front of Maharishi with that bgm playing in the background.🔥🔥

11:10 I think RRR did a splendid job with the introduction scene of the lead characters. Not only did it establish the characters and the mood of the film, but the scenes shown actually play a crucial role in the story line

Apart from technical issues you very well pointed out the acting mistakes like the first time when Bajrang comes to his original form in front of Raghav. His acting looked like he was confused about what was happening to him.

According to valmiki ramayana , Rama and lakshmana together fought 60000 rakshasas called kara and dhushana , these rakshasas were related to mareecha who therefore agreed to join hands with ravana

1 point you missed above in video at exact "3:12 time stamp" the creators were that dedicated but ye movie mein highlight nhi hua. In cloud they have tried to imitate Vishnu ji and Lakshimiji Stereotypical pose with Shehnag on and they are imitating the same with prabhas kriti and 3rd hero names as Shesh. So Idea was awesome here.

I think it was made as concept art. Watch the Adipurush announcement trailer. It's full of concept art and they actually looked good.
Lakesh was adorned with gold and his 10 head looks terrifying. I really want to know why they didn't follow their own concept art.
Also the animal models I suspect were brought from already existing models.
Eg Jatayu and Sugriv.
Lord of the Rings has eagles and Planet of the apes has chimps and gorilla.
There's no Indian animal. Only those that u see in Hollywood movies. Very strange.

It is obvious and the same was in the Ramayan serials. Not a new concept.
First fight scene : Ramayana Katha Surpanaka first goes to her Rakshasa Kharaasura brother with 14,000 army. Actually SriRamachandra had to defeat 2 times 14000 of these rakshasas - this actually gives us a glimpse into coming war. It’s a beautiful establishment in Ramayana, not usually directed. Whoever is interested, do check it out - Aranyakhanda, Sarga 20 - geetapress, ValmikiVirachithaSrimadramayanam.
I searched for this after seeing in movie, what they showed is not even 1% close to what’s described.
We went after the first scene , that is we went at the title point. Shivoham song, was amazing in Telugu except the figures also singing. But first half felt good .
But those 14k rakshasas were defeated by Ram actively, while Laxman protected Sita in a cave. Here, laxman and Sita were attacked by the rakshasas in that cave directly, which never happened, as Ram never allowed a single rakshas to pass him by. He killed them all in 1½ pahar, which is about 72 minutes.
Killing 14k rakshasas in 72 minutes: what a carnage that would've been, and so awesome to see onscreen. Unfortunately, Adipurush killed all the potential.

After watching this video, got to know so many glitches. I knew there is something off in those sequences, but didn't quite get to point on why it was happening that way. Mainly it was on contact points. So now I'm amazed how VFX supervisors approved such sequences.

Hi bro, the final money shot you spoke about, I have composited the shot, but the issue is even with rotoscope, the shot couldn't be blended because in the RAW, there was a bright focused light only on his head, that hair detail was lost, Luma overpowered the hair and we couldn't get any detail, and when we added the background, there was no reason for that bright light and we added a circular roto and brighten the background.

But why you need CGI when work can be done with real location nd real actors. It was big blunder from makers that they decided to make Full CGI movie using Motion capture technique
