    Yamaha CLP 545&645 which one is better sounding? Are both of these two models better sounding then CLP 440? I own CLP 440 and want to upgrade for the best piano tone.

      NASRI ZHANG I wonder why not I heard and played the CLP575 but didn't like it but I'm sure the CLP585 would sound better.

    Hi. Thank you for this video.
    I was wondering if you could help me with 2 problems I have with my brand new clp 545.
    1. The playback volume of the recorded songs is very low and i have to amplify it using apps which lowers the quality of the song.
    2. couple of the keys in lower octaves sound different in sustain mode. they sound like a loud (ooouuuu) with the main sound and it becomes a big problem using one of them in a chord.
    Thank you very much

      Well on these pianos, the lowest keys make a sort of blow (something like "psssssss") sound when you press them hard and hold them, it's Yamaha's fault, they probably didn't sample these well...

    the virtual resonance technology, would the 565-GP have that as well, or is it only the 575 and 585 that have it?

    • @ePianoscouk
      @ePianoscouk  Před 7 lety +1

      It starts with the CLP575 in the 500 range. But the new version CLP665 does have it.

    I'm playing the piano on the Yamaha CLP 555 for 15 years now. It's a great looking piano, but it's slightly old and the keystroke is different from real piano's in my opinion, which causes me problems when I want to play on other piano's. I'm a student and don't have that much money to buy a real piano. So which piano would be the best choice: The Yama CLP 535, 545 or 575?

      Kai I am ready to buy 575, I was also between these three models

      The CLP 635(Plastic Keys) or 645(Wooden Keys) is best for low budget...
      Because in previous CLP 500 series, the CLP 575 and 585 had VRM technology but in CLP new 600 series, the VRM technology is in CLP 635 and all above models..
      VRM is must have technology in digital piano for real grand resonating sound..

    Can someone please explain what the difference is between weighted keys and hammer action keys?

    • @ePianoscouk
      @ePianoscouk  Před 7 lety

      Weighted keys mean that the key feels heavy to press down. If the key has a hammer action it means there is a mechanism inside simulating the real hammer action of a traditional piano, this gives a weighted feel to the touch.

    For this money you can get a real piano and need not to worry of VRM or any other digital imitation

      It's difficult to play on an acoustic piano late at night without disturbing your neighbours. Plus, you save up on tuning cost. I also like the fact that you can record your playing straight off the piano. To do that on an acoustic piano you'd need high end recorders which require a lot of investment, if you want to listen back on your music in good quality.
