Order mine today after a few days of searching for the right gaming laptop for me. This was hands down the winner, cost me £949, I had a custom built alienware r3 for the past 8 years and know my machines inside out. This laptop is upgradeable which is a massive bonus compared to other models within a 1k budget. I could of bought a 2k system but I'm looking to do light gaming now as I dont have the time i had in my younger years. Anyone looking a kick ass gaming laptop, this is the one. My list came down to HP Pavilion, Acer Nitro 5, HP Omen and an MSI. Hope this helps

Got one myself, it's honestly phenomenal. I'm likely just gonna add a fat 4TB 2.5 HDD and another 8 GB stick of RAM and it'll be a super solid tight 15 inch laptop.
@@Ar10ahmed woops, the graphics card on this video is a bit better than the one I linked, not toooo extraordinarily better though. Maybe like a 20-25% upgrade. All up to you, personally I just plan to use it at 1080p and the GTX 1050ti will perform more than fine in 1080p.
I got mine in argos, cost 949 and next day it dropped to 849 so I live chatted and got the difference back lol beast of a laptop absolutely worth the money

he has a cooling pad and different thermal paste, another thing you can do is undervolt the cpu and gpu :)

I just bought that laptop with 16GBs of Ram and I think it's worth paying more. It's quite cheap and 16GBs is slowly becoming a standard.

Over 60fps in all modern games with appropriate settings, and them spec nerds still said that this card is useless. I used to have an xps 15 2019 with a gtx 1650 and I felt very comfortable gaming with this card.

I wouldn't stress my system to pump out more frames than it can display. I'd lock it to 60 and enjoy some slightly better visuals as well but seeing just how many frames the 1650 'can' pump out, is important too.

Exactly, the laptop display is only 60hz as well so going over 60 is kinda pointless unless you connect it to a higher refresh rate monitor

the cooling system is good if u play for about 3 hours...I experience lag issues afetr playing about 4 hours
