The helicopter is responsible for almost half the team disappearing and not being on the objective
This map is bad for helicopters, the plays of the wheeled vehicles were also questionable, they have extended engagement ranges up to 500 meters easily, yet they pushed into the enemy fobs.
i hate the squad that first took a vehicle and pushed in and died instantly. Then decided to do the exact same thing with a heli. like 30 tickets gone

Feel like if the incident with the morons in the vehicles who got entire squads wiped didn’t happen the Australians would’ve been able to capture that point. Insane how they almost had an incredible comeback but the Insurgents having an Alamo was crazy.

this game could honestly have its on Esports section, it would be interesting cause there would be people who learned certain specialties like LAT, HAT, Machine gunner, your normal riflemen, squad leaders, tank crews. just an all around exciting game style to watch from a sport based mindset cause it does take a bit of skill to learn this game
I find this much more interesting than usually Esports. I treat this like Esports when watching. Its so fun seeing the strategy, the teamwork, the comms, the roles specialties etc. Even got banter and you can sometimes sense when morale is high or low just from the comms. Its hella entertaining

That heli hotdrop is so bad, terrible decision by the pilot to try and drop that close and that early. There is no other outcome in that situation than what happened.

@StevieSavagery no I wasn't. I knew there was an spg truck the entire time, I just never had a sight line on him when I got tracked and I didn't see him as a threat since he never hit us. I was finally able to see it once we were retreating and had just enough time to get my shot out.

I hear way too many people complain when this map comes up. THE best invasion games I have ever played have been fighting like hell to get that airfield and bridge. After that it's just keeping momentum as the attacking force. The open fields balance the armor deficit for the defenders. Takes a lot of force to take each point.

These are always a great watch. The Aussies could have done so much better if they had taken time to set up SBF and intermediate SBF with those tanks and ASLAVs. Maybe I'm being too hopeful but I'd love if the new update kind of forces more tactical planning in that sense. Haven't played in a while because it got too "COD-esque" for me.

If you take a machine gun kit on a bike to the north side of airfield. You can absolutely wreck logis as they pass because they typcially arent worried about the north side

the biggest problem i've with squad is that artilery is made exatly to destroy static fortified positions , and it doesn't. those houses and walls should have been destroyed to the ground . i guess there are no trenches\ foxholes in the game to give infantry a way to "fortify" a position .
