How the HERO 25K optical sensor works

  • At 25,600 DPI, the HERO 25K sensor is the world’s first sub-micron level mouse sensor. Whilst beyond what most players will be able to use, it reflects the incredible performance potential of the HERO architecture and sensor performance.

And from how my Logitech G Pro X Wireless Superlight mouse performs at 6400 dpi in Fortnite makes me believe that the marketing is true. No guessing, slight movements are very accurate. With a sensor this good, you want to turn the DPI up relatively high and then lower in game sensitivity. It is VERY accurate.

0:38 gonna nerd out on this, but it is entirely impossible to convert photons into electrons. Photons are bosons, which are massless particles with a wavelength. Electrons are leptons, a particle with mass that does not have a wave length. Although electrons carry energy, they are made of matter, bosons are pure energy. You cannot turn a particle of energy into a particle of mass, but you can go reverse. The only way to convert a particle made of mass into energy is through a nuclear reaction, and the particles that do that are protons when they turn into neutrons.

Hero sensor is not accuracy at all, Pre version used PIXART sensor which is way more better . Pixart 3366 version G903 ,wired G502 are far more accuracy than G903 G502 wireless hero, the one I love most is G302, perfect for warcraft III, and G303 ( stoped manufacturing). I would not buy any new Logitech mouse with hero sensor. BTW ,I am an old fan ,I used logitech mouses since it only had 400DPI, logitech G1 remind me good memory. Laser sensor 9800 and hero are the worst.

Ok I figured out Logitech. My mouse doesn't work correctly and it doesn't respond so nicely. The cursor lags insanely much that I am annoyed that I am very angry! 🍄 🐖
So this is the problem.. Since your video states that the mouse is so precise and accurate that it knows when it is =>1.2mm above the surface. The mouse thinks that I lifted the mouse up so it stops capturing images to record its position so the cursor behaves so so so erratically on my screen!!! ( This happens when I use the mouse on my bed.. ) 🌸 🐁 🌸
So Logitech.. here is what you need to do.. 🐎
You need to update the Logitech App so we have the option to select which surface we are using the mouse on e.g. bedsheet, mousepad, and so on.. 🐚
If I select bedsheet then the mouse will only think I lift it up when it is ~3mm above the surface (: 🌚
I love to have the comfort using my laptop on my clean bedsheet on my bed before bed time :D 🐷 🐛
