Thank you! And I’m probably the only one that would’ve thought to use those Mercury tail lights. They just about everybody else what are use so nice round tail lights which would’ve been fine or even some old 65 Mustang tail lights. But for me everything is based around the old cougar and, well I had these extra parts laying around.
Thanks Chris, I was trying to figure out how to do that. At first I was looking at possibly trying some woodland scenics water effects which is what she used to make icicles with and then I would’ve just painted it. But in the end I figured the stretch sprue would be fine
Thank you, thank you for watching. When I started putting it together I really wanted to try and model the green and burnt orange that was on the side of the box. So I got looking through my colors the only green I had that I liked was and Imran color that I painted the mustang green hornet project last year. I was lazy and didn’t want to go through all the work I would have to do with the Imran paint so that’s why I did this.
Very nice kit,job well done, the merc.rear lights a fantastic addition, who would have thunk.

The citrus part really does enhance the theme. That was a very good idea. The finished model looks great.
