Hi sir, thank you for making such Vedios.. I am using platform to share my experience on appraisal. Am agree and disagree with you on appraisal part. Off-Course appraisal depends on individual performance but it also depends on policies of Organizations. Some of companies has maximum hike of 5% , some have 10-12% ,15% and 15% to 20%. In my organization average performed employee received 8 to 10% of appraisal where as in other organizations employee receives 5 to 10% of appraisal if they perform outstanding . Thank you!

      Hello Meghashree,
In business, one often encounters the terms ‘Ltd’ or ‘LLC’ attached to company names. But what do they really mean? And how are they significant to the nature of an enterprise?
Essentially, these two are types of companies. The Ltd, which stands for “private limited company”, has shareholders with limited liability, and its shares may not be offered to the general public. The LLC, or limited liability company, also known as “with limited liability” (WLL), provides limited liability to its owners and follows pass-through income taxation.

1.If we consider the facts as to the performance of the company then any day Deloitte is better than Infosys
2.Brand impact on CV-Deloitte is way above the league of Infosys when it comes to brand value and weightage it puts on your CV.Makes switching to top3 consulting firms possible in near future.
3.A candidate never ever will be able to judge what their rating will be in the future so people check average hike which makes Deloitte an obvious choice.
4.Role of an Analyst is mid-management role and role of a consultant is a gateway to senior level management, so isnt it obvious to go for consultant role?In any other IT giants a software engineer, analyst or consultant will not have works based on their roles. These roles merely classify your salary structure. I had a team lead who was a consultant and did the same daily tasks as mine but yes he had additional responsibilities too.
But to sum things up I could not find a single logical explanation as to why Infosys is a better choice here

    comparing salary?
Tip: Infy's ctc has variable while deloitte is not. So, deloitte in hand sal is more. Deloitte's variable is over and above ctc offered.
Designation doesnt matter that much. Project and work culture matters.

Variable pay is different for different grades. As you climb the ladder variable pay increases.

Hi sir, please guide better path
    - should I stay in #CTS and complete 3 years as currently I am 2 year experienced as Cts promised me for some good project & some hike
    - or should I switch now itself as I got offer from #PWC for some good role & salary
Not fully sure about work in both cases

      Hello Shivani,
      1. You may switch after 2 years that is fine. But you should know why you want to switch. Changing job just for money may not be a good idea. Look for other things as well.
      2. Try and focus on the skill and role. Go for an option which provides you a role which interests you and opportunity to enhance your skill.
      3. Connect with me on LinkedIn if you have further questions.
