I remember when I was little and I watched cats on the vcr and I asked my mom "can I ever be a professional dancer and actor?" and she said "sure!" well I tried out for suessical at our local theater and I got the part as JoJo!!! :) I'm so happy :) you guys inspired me soooo much! thanks
THis is incredible! I wanted to ask what products you used for the base colors, Black, white, brown etc? And if you used makeup sponges or household sponges? Great work :-)
@LunaLupinTonks indeed it was. when i heard it was closing on Broadway that was my sole purpose for going to New York and I saw it twice that trip (the 2nd time i had seats right near the stage and during intermssion I got to go backstage & chat w/ Old Deuteronomy (in Ny 7 rows of the seats in the orchestra section were relocated to expand the stage)
it looks like it would be SOOOOO much fun! what part did you play? (If given the chioce I would most want to be skimble shanks....but I'm not good enough)
Growltiger's Last Stand made the stage production, but was not in the movie version mainly due to the age of Sir John Mills (the actor who portrayed Gus) and partly due to some time restraints during the filming. It is a pity though, as the song is something you need to see to believe.
Its always interersting to see how cats make up is done. Was this from an actual show make up or from when they experimented with what kind off make up to do?
@goalie247247 Il guess doing make up is part off getting into characters for actors. When they doing they make up and costume they know its close to show time. And I dont know how they manage to do it but most actors seams to be silly fast in removing they make up and get out through the stage doors, they even faster than the audience (well maybe not at cats) most off the times. Johan.
I'm glad you liked that. It's a production by a mexican university. I'd really enjoyed beeing in that play. There are more videos, try the other ones from my channel. Also try Amor Pop Trailer.

This is amazing! At my school we're putting on Cats, and we get to play with the make-up!
Its so hypnotic, watching someone do makeup...I could sit there all day and watch people transform!
Well done! This production obviously tried hard to make it the best!

Esto fue en el año 2002 con estudiantes del Tec de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara.

¿Qué tipos de composición usted usó y dónde usted lo consiguió?

I believe this musical was the first reason why I love doing show make-up (most "Tim Burton-like" though, but this is where I got the start.)

Actually I played precisely Skimbleshanks, you can watch it in my videos. Type: Mirringo Héctor Flores Skimbleskanks
Just when I think,"Oh this looks promising" along comes Wan Valdez 1:27. Why.....why?
Omfg I think he did get a bloody nose, or thats just part of the make-up, but it looks like resont blood!!!
What the hell is a cat doing in a sombrero.
I don't understand :(
It must be a pain to take off your make-up every day and then put it back on soon. Looks fantastic though!
what's the song called?
Well... there goes your laptop! lol
I'm sorry, but I like their old costumes/makeup better...
