Indeed Hailin. It's not what you know, it's what you do with what you know. Thanks for your comment and good luck! Jason

Good video. I find Word 2016 harder to use than the previous version. What I still can't figure out is how to print with comment balloons. Any tip on that? (Also, I'm seeing that putting the comments in balloons isn't always available as a review option. Markup in balloons, etc is still there but the comment one has disappeared.)

Amazingly, I gave playing the print options one last try, (select Word options, then show document and markup) and the print preview showed balloons and document! it just started working (despite losing my "put comments in balloons" option disappearing). Sadly, Word 2016 has some problems as it took 30 to get this feature to work.

Lancer, thanks for your question. Comments are very simple and have very few options. Let me provide a quick run-through.
      To ADD a comment:
      1. Select some document text or place the cursor.
      2. Click NEW COMMENT on the REVIEW ribbon. Comments appear in a balloon by default. Type your comment.
To EDIT or REPLY to a comment:
      1. Make sure the review sidebar is displayed by selecting ALL MARKUP on the REVIEW ribbon.
      2. Click in a comment and make an edit, or click Reply underneath a comment to extend the conversation.
To hide the comment details and show a simple comment balloon marker:
      1. Change ALL MARKUP to SIMPLE MARKUP on the REVIEW ribbon. You can still click a comment marker to edit or reply to a comment, or add a new comment as normal.
To change the style and colouring of the comments (or tracked changes):
      1. Click the launcher in the bottom-right corner of the Tracking group (on the Review ribbon).
      2. Tick (check) the items you want to see on the document.
      3. Click Advanced Options to set your style preferences.
To print a document with comments and tracked changes:
      1. Press Ctrl P or choose File > Print. The Preview will reflect your current document choices.
I hope this helps Lancer. All the best going forward.
      Jason

Would anyone know the solution to this. I have a user who wants to utilize track changes, but NOT SHOW the date and time the change occurred. I cannot find a way to do this. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi Mark. Can't be done. This is system info that Word controls. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Jason
