On OnePlus/OPPO there's OPSplash, a tool that allows extraction/repacking of the bitmaps in the logo partition, I think Xiaomi has a similar application. I suppose that kind of thing can be done on Samsung too, depending on their partition layout

yeah if you're running a custom rom sometimes it has the tendency to randomly show up. the only way to fix it is by reflashing the original bootloader and ROM using ODIN
