It’s normal for Executive variant that can only open😅…
Mr David, example if stop and leave the car forget to press lock the door, safety door locking automatic function have or not.
It wouldn’t be lock, If you forget to lock the X70..
But the X90 does come along with the walk away locking function😅

Mr David... my lock not lock if i touch the door knob using finger...i produce horn sound 3x. I lock manually using the key.
Same thing if i try to open n slipped my finger into the door handle...cant automatically open. I manually open by pressing the open key.
Just bought the car today...
Does it need to set 1st before auto lock like what u presented here?
Hi, just to be sure that when you touch the lock sensor area, don't put your hand inside the handle at the same time.
This might confuse the locking system with two signal simultaneuosly happen. Hope you have resolve the issue and sorry for the late response..

Does this works on x50 too ? Cause my x50 unlock horn sound is unabled. Tried same trick , but not functioned

Hi Mr David, can the power boot open by kick sensor or remote control when the car is unlocked?
Hi Leon, the original power boot in the CKD (round Proton logo model) version is coming with both opening and close activation by kick sensor, remote contro, and as well as the in car control. It can be activate no matter it’s lock or unlock.

Should we drive the car in manual mode when in heavy traffic
And does the car disengage the gear when it comes to a stop.
Hi, no necessary to drive it in manual mode during heavy traffic condition.
The clutches will automatically disengage when the vehicle is stop.

Only try not keep creeping?
If I keep the car in first gear by manual mode will it be better for the longevity of the gear.
@@apocalypse9532 Hi, we only need to be aware don’t creeping on the slope or hilly areas. Manual mode and auto mode will always ensure we initiate the drive in 1st gear, so it doesn’t matter.
Hello Mr David , can we set the remote to only unlock the driver’s door ? And can the system not to auto unlock all door’s if we stop the engine ?
Hi En Zainol, as far I know and reasearch there’s no setting for the possibility in unlocking the driver door only and same goes to the engine shutdown unlock (this is for emergency safety reason in case of accident or other unforeseen stop situation)
@@davidong2898 guz for safety against hijack, Proton @X70 should adopt those function similar like some other Proton’s model .
We don’t want a scenario of the criminal able to open the other door while u entering the car or stopping the engine.
It’s more as a peace of mind

Slyders 07 X70 doesn't have this function, but X50 does.
Hi Mr David, i tried pressing the lock button twice but my X70 doesnt honk. Also held the lock and unlock button for a few seconds to get the honk sound when i unlock the car but theres no sound. What should I do? Thanks

Hi Lisbeth, only premium or premium X can can be close with the Immobilizer key.
Executive and standard variant can only be open with Immobilizer key but have to close manually.. 😅
