Bring on Cillian Murphy as Victor Von Doom now, I guess Charlie? The only thing Jonathan Majors is guilty of is trying to pry his property back from an insanely jealous partner, inadvertently injuring her finger. She hit her head at the nightclub. Sad that another brilliant actor's career is over because of an unfortunate event that was blown WAY outta proportion. Hopefully, in time, he can rehab his career?

Replacing Majors as Kang became a lot harder after that Council of Kangs scene where all the variants looked like him.
No. They can recast Bruce banner and James Rhodes. Recasting kang isn't a problem.
Not necessarily, you can honestly count the ending of Loki s2 as him getting rid of one Kang and accidentally spawning another, easy recast
@@nachro2190wouldn't make sense because after Loki fixes the TVA and becomes HWR, Mobius and B15 mention the events of Quantumania took place. So Major's Kang variants would still be out there after the fact. They would just have to ignore the recast entirely and pretend nothing changed

They need to have a doom series, for backstory, after the sokovia incident in age of ultron. Sokovia split into two nations, sokovia and latveria. Have it so hes spent this entire time focusing on his nation and biding his time until he's ready to rise up for the best interest of all humanity

He was ultimately found guilty of fighting to keep her in the car. The driver was clear testimony she was the aggressor. He was trying to get her to stay in the car. Even haul running didn’t matter.

To be clear, he was found not-guilty on the charges of intentionally hurting her. He was found guilty for something that was on video, that essentially amounts to accidentally hurting someone. The footage of him pushing her back in the escalade while she holds onto his arm, then walks to the curb when she doesn't let go, and "violently" yanks free of her grip. That's what he was found guilty for. He did do the defined action of the charges (shoving) but his defense did not address the other half of that charge, which was his legitimate reason for using physical force. They never, in the entire trial, used the term "self-defense" even though that's the only thing that would've justified the physical force he was filmed using. They botched his defense imo. If you ever get in a situation that turns physical, try your best to not use any physical force back because regardless of right or wrong, you open yourself up to prosecution or liability. He said/she saids are a coin toss and he's fortunate to not be found guilty for the higher charge, likely because the only witness vindicated him.
You should never put your hands on a woman for any reason especially a man of his size. The MCU will be better without that abuser in it.

On one hand, I feel like my MCU excitement is finally starting to take a hit, as he has been one of my favorite things about the MCU lately, but then I also remember that we've gotten Loki season 2, No Way Home, and Guardians 3 fairly recently, and honestly I haven't been nearly as disappointed with everything else as most people, maybe with the exception of Secret Invasion, which was pretty underwhelming considering the people involved... My biggest worry is just the general lukewarm response to these types of movies lately. It's eventually going to deter them from dropping the big bucks to make this stuff if the response doesn't change.
no way home was like a con panel more than a movie. its the first mcu film i am not getting on blu ray. both it and guardians tried to turn the emotion side so high it made me just numb to everything they tried to invoke. Marvels in jeopardy of losing relevancy imho. I’m pretty much over it & not having another “anchor character” like majors.. it’s hard to get robert Downey type actors that work. The franchise is losing all respectable actors in terms of the new ones are almost all not good.

He was a great Kang, but I’m all for a 2 part secret wars. The story deserves a 2 parter to be done correctly.

I'm pretty sure Disney wanted to fire majors sooner but he probably had something in his contract that would cause Disney a legal headache if they jumped the gun. The guilty verdict counts probably voided that contract agreement and so they immediately let him go once they knew they were in the clear legally.
If Disney wants to fire you, they’ll fire you. Just ask James Gunn. He was a more important part of the mcu and they fired him without question a few years back.

Marvel can do what they did with Kang in the Ultimate Universe comics. Keep him masked with a voice changer and when you finally unmask them, they could be a core character from the early phases like Tony Stark or Sue Storm variants once she's introduced.
It was a pretty weird verdict. They found him not guilty of the more serious stuff but found him guilty on the minor stuff after the success of Loki 2, I think it's easy for them to just get rid of him it would be kind of cool if they had a Loki. 3 and it's just them destroying all the kang variants but they could just act like the king variant died in Ant-Man 3 and the time keepers figured out how to stop them

Shits WILD man. From everything I’ve been able to find, he didn’t “assault” her, at least in the traditional sense, and it seemed like he was basically just trying to get away from her as she was trying to attack him, and she got hurt in the process, allegedly.
Pretty shitty situation for him I think no matter what though. As you said, I think Disney already had their mind made up regardless of the outcome. He’s a great actor, I’ve seen him in a number of very different roles prior to even getting cast as Kang, and he’s always done a phenomenal job with every character he has played. He was GREAT in Creed 3, and the physical work that he put in for that character was crazy. He was a perfect Kang too. All the problems with Quantummania aside, he did a great job there and in Loki. Really sucks we don’t get to see it all pay off with him.
I challenge anybody ANYBODY to view this case as if the roles were reversed. If the woman pushed the man into the car because he was constantly not letting go because of “texts seen on the phone” leading to violent jealousy. If the woman yanked her arm away from the man because she did not want to be with him. If the woman ran for blocks on blocks to escape the man chasing her. If the woman went to a hotel in an attempt to escape the man. If the man went to a bar and club to party and drink yet state that he was injured to the point where it was hard to sleep and think. If the man was in the apartment half naked passed out on the ground with a cut behind is ear. If the woman found him, called 911 despite what happened because she has a good heart, and if the woman instead got arrested rather than the cops just doing their actual job rather than the cops coaching the man into filing assault. If the court still occurred and an overwhelming amount of evidence the woman’s favor. WOULD ANYBODY QUESTION THE WOMAN???? WOULD PEOPLE NOTICE THE MAN’S STORY DIDN’T ALLIGN!!! If everybody testifying states no harmful injuring were visibly seen on the man nor was he acting hurt???? If the judge ruled in charging the woman for TRYING TO PROTECT HERSELF???? If the woman lost her movies and possibly career because the man took her to court. But NOOOO because Jonathan Majors is a man! No one can see he was just trying to escape her and just trying to protect himself. And the jury find that he hurt her? Men are not protected in this world for shit. Especially in the court system. It makes me so sad that he lost everything because he just tried to protect himself. And still tried to get the woman help. Women like Jabbari makes me hate women. Women like Jabbari are the devils of this world. Women who just charge men with allegations because they know at the end of the day people will side with the women makes good men die everyday inside and out. Given that James Gunn got fired for ancient tweets, I'm not surprised they fired Johnathan Majors - he was proven guilty. Not sure they'd have fired him anyway though. He is a spectacular actor, and firing someone who was ultimately vindicated would have been a very bad look.
Love the idea of casting Denzel Washington as Kang. I'd watch every MCU film with him in it!
But I wish they'd ditch all the Rick and Morty writers. I really don't understand why they haven't - the reviews of movies written and directed by them are consistently bad. And whatever you think of the Loki TV shows, there's no denying that it barely recognised the idea of free will and destiny. These people just aren't of the same calibre as the ones in the films leading up to Endgame...
I think best way is recasting Kang varients as multiple actors . In that way, we can build a theory we only seen little bit of Kang varients yet and Jonathan Majors kang vairents are some of them.
Nah, just have a super powerful hero or villain take out all the kangs in one quick scene to show how strong they are.

I think Marvel had a contingency plan. They knew they would dismiss him and rename Avengers 5 if JM was found guilty.
The sad thing is what his was found guilty of should’ve been considered self defense. The driver testified she was the aggressor, the evidence proved her claim was a lie, but “we’re” going to forget all that, and cite he’s pushing her away as the crime he is guilty of…like he was the victim of DV, and now if you live in NYC and your partner is the aggressor…you can’t touch them, you can’t fight back, you have to find a way to extract yourself without hurting them…where else does this make sense?

honestly they can have a slight segment of "kang dynasty"(whatever they decide to name it) like 5-6mins where they decide to show what the tva does(haunting kangs(the ones which break the timeline) ) and after that they can introduce dr doom(or any villain), or they can make "tva season 1" in that would be the best course of action but a villian like dr doom isn't one that you just keep for 2 movies and remove later I'd say leave the movie at cliffhanger
It's shame what could have been Majors Kang and Kang Dynasty has so much potential.
John David Washington would be perfect Kang replacement since Loki and NWH established not all variants look alike so it should be no problem and to explain why Scarlet Centurion, Rama Tut, Immortus, and the other Kang now look different is because they changed their face to avoid being hunted down by TVA (after it was set up in Loki Season 2 finale) sort of like the Doctor, the Master, and Time Lords in Doctor Who he regenerated a new face.

The potential for Denzel and his son to portray different ages of Kang in the movies is fascinating! Their range could offer an intriguing depth to Kang's character, exploring various facets across generations, much like the different Kang variants we've seen so far.

I think it would be really cool if they used the Fantastic 4 movie to kick off a version of Time Runs Out. The Fantastic 4 could be the ones to discover the full breadth of the incursions, and maybe they go to Doom for help but he eventually goes off on his own because he's Dr. Doom. Then, in Avengers 5, The council of Kangs' activity will accelerate the incursions. In Dr. Doom's attempt to learn more about the incursions, he encounters the beyonder and steals his power. He then shows back up and wipes out the Council and the multiverse is destroyed. Avengers 6 opens up in Battle World
And Disney/Marvel continues to attempt to fill the void for a strong black male lead since Chadwick passed away…
All that's needed is a good story dude. A black lead is the least of anyone's worries.

This is so unfortunate, I really feel for Major’s. I really enjoyed him as Kang. He’s a phenomenal actor!! I’d personally would like to see Kang the Conqueror’s story properly told and finished. I say just recast Kang. It would be such a mess if they wanted to bring a new villian in. It would be pretty awesome though to see Dr. Doon introduced into the MCU!!

Never was interested in Secret Wars on screen. I would love to see The Maker in the MCU and Ultimate Universe Doom prior to 616 Doom being introduced. I'm not Reid Richards fan but the story would be more flexible with the these characters and The Maker is a great villain with a story that can explain a lot of the changes and having more than one version of Doom leaves room open for many stories...like The Master of Doom/Marqi of Death story. There is plenty of room for an MCU version of these stories that can smooth over things and explain changes, Secret Wars Idk, without The Beyonder not sure it works for me but I'm an MCU fan diehard, looking forward to see where this goes.

C'mon people, be serious now. There ain't no goddamn way that Denzel's even gonna be interested in playing Kang. Man's nearly 70-years-old and you'd really expect him to be up for being locked into that role for like a decade? A good, realistic answer that would still cook like an absolute motherfucker would be Michael Jai White.
Honestly this idea would be so cool. I want them to pivot from kang just because even in the comics he is confusing with all the different variants. Honestly if they break up secret wars in two parts i would love to see a dark avengers return of tony stark, chris evans, scar jo, and have them just be variants. That way you can bring back on the old Avengers in a fun and unique way. Then at the end of the first movie Doctor Doom seizes power we get the 2015 avengers secret wars with God Emperor Doom. That way Doom has at least a bit more time to develop with all the fantastic 4 and all the other movies that are still coming out. Because if you think about it, Thanos had so much set up and its why Infinity War was so successful. I feel like if you just rush Doom the larger more general audience won't get why its such a big deal.
I still don't hear a good reason why they wanted to get rid of him. Just that they wanted to get rid of him much earlier. But what is the real reason? I feel we're not getting that. As an actor I've been quite impressed with him so far. Especially in Loki.

So hear me out. I feel like the end of Loki left it open to do whatever they want with the kang character. He doesn’t show back up at the end, so you could say he died, or you could shelve the character and bring him back years down the line with a different actor. I think they should to an in-universe recast. So, kang is a descendent of reed richards. A rumor for the fantastic 4 movie is that it will start with them in a different reality, but end with them in the main MCU reality(616 or whatever). So the Jonathon majors kang wasn’t related to RR, but after the F4 enter the main universe, the continuity is changed and Mr fantastics great great great grandchild gets with Kangs distant relative instead of who originally did. All other Kangs branch off from this one. And then you recast Kang with someone else to reflect the change.

If Marvel were contractually bound to only offer Kang to Majors, I think a sub clause of any personal legal issues and / or negative publicity probably made things null and void. From a franchise perspective, the MCU was failing and Disney need to count themselves lucky this unexpected cross roads has appeared. If Disney do not fix the quality of marvel's production then the issue will only get worse and a writers strike or rogue actor can not be blamed.

Merry Winter good wishes. Sad situation with Jonathan Majors. No opinion on Kang and multiverse, but hopeful and curious for next imaginative production. I am old and have loved everything MARVEL and my husband is the same. We learned to stream and came late to Marvel, Coco, Encanto during Covid while helping Moms with dementia. Everything Disney since childhood and now finding MCU has been medicine for my soul. I am infinitely grateful for all of it, every single movie and series we have watched. Emergency Awesome is our favorite to explain so many details we dont know or understand including stuff about Star Wars. Thank you so much.

It will be interesting to see if they do the same with the Namor actor. Only this situation is its a jaded ex-girlfriend. It came out just after Majors arrest.
That's not the case here - the girlfriend didn't sue for money. The state of new York launched a criminal investgation. Violence against women is so rampant they are required to treat any suspected violence seriously. She didn't help them and isn't getting any money from the verdict.
If they can recast The Oracle in The Matrix series, then you can be ok with them recasting Kang. I would say Kang exists in all universes and no matter what his physical appearance looks like his aura or need to exist remains the same. For example, in Loki how they needed to scan the temporal aura of Victor Timely to match He Who Remains aura. Yes, they messed up by having that shot of all of them looking the same but it can be flipped if they so want to.
I'd be down if they got the high evolutionary actor to play Kang or John David Washington would be a solid pick too

The Protagonist from Tenet in 2:44 would be interesting as Kang. I would love it because it would boost his career so much, as him in Tenet was so underrated, but I think he’d be more serious than Majors.

The difference with the James Rhodes character is that the writers didn’t use him as a whole concept to develop a movie, as they did with Jonathan. Recasting the role would be the safe choice, because there’s already caos in social media and there’s a whole movie in his name. Let’s just see what happens.

Honestly i wanted this saga to mainly deal with kang since they started with him. However doom would make more since, but they'll have to tease him sooner than later. After this multiverse saga it should focus on the mutants mainly mister sinister re introduce apocalypse as the big bad of that saga. Then fantastic four and inhumans and galactis as the big bad. But shit id be old as shit before id be able to see all that play out.

@@nyeaboohis text messages and statement have very little to do with the actual case. The audio is literally him just asking her to have respect for herself and not be not be an alcoholic. The text messages also were taken out of context because Grace herself even said he never hit her until that day in the car (which the jury said he didn’t) which proves those messages don’t insinuate physical violence.

Actually what I’d like would be yes secret wars part 1-2 but have 1 small scale movie and maybe a series they can perfectly use to do a number of things. To actually go around and show all corners of battle world. Then give more screen time to the lesser characters that’s not the remaining avengers x men or FF. Using these projects allows them to better build out and help give the best experience secret wars can get. This way maybe the last 20 minutes of part 2 can be used to see how things in 616 are different. Then give us additional final moments with the OG X men and FF
Best option I think is to make OB (Ke Huy Quan) from the Loki series the actual Kang going forward.
A swerve and Marvel can write their own bootstrap to explain it.

They can recast kang as a variant that took over or they can change a few things as to how the incursions need to be fixed and then have it set up where doom can meet the F4 before secret wars pt1 /2 start
