Last of the Starlings...???

At one of the Dairy farms I started to shoot at 2 years ago. We are finally at the last stages at this Dairy regarding the starlings and pigeons. Shooting the FX Dreamline Btl version in .177. Shooting JSB Heavy pellets at 700 fps. When I first started, there were 5,000 or so starlings in his barn. Tonight, there is maybe 500 and they are all in with the ladies that are pregnant with calves. So I opened a new tin of pellets and had at them. When I left there were maybe 50 or so still flying around. Going forward this will only require one or two visits thru the year to keep them under control. Make sure you skip or listen at the end to hear how loud cows can be when they are getting ready to have calves! 😉😬 Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe. The barn door is like that bridge of death at Chernobyl 😂
Shooting is spot on as always, and you can almost patent this system of turning off the lights if the farmer allows it, low light seems to help out a bit too though.
The worker helping you out speaks for itself, one happy farmer 😊

my neighbor has automatic milkers at 250k a piece. He leaves the lights on so when the cows get the urge they go into the parlor and get milked.

One of the farms I go to has them as well, but he still lets me turn off the lights and I only leave the ones on that are right over the robots.

When driving in the country I look at the farms to see if I see lots of birds. If so, I stop by and ask if I can help. After you get one or two, you can usually get the farmer to find you another farm that needs help.

I had already been there 2 hours and knew the next day was going to be cold as well. So figured I could do them on their own video the next day. It was a weekday and I had to go to work the next morning as well. Hahahaha. 😆
