- Wireless Lavalier mic won't work with Android phone ?
This may be the cause (if your phone uses this).
You need to tick something on in settings.
It seems this may be an issue on android phones of :
Oppo, Vivo, Iqoo, Realm and others (Chinese brand Android phones ?).
Lavalier mic on Android phone with type C socket.
for those who can't find the setting :
there's an app on google play to check if you have it.

GUYS IF YOU DONT HAVE OTG, GO TO CAMERA SETTINGS WHILE THE MIC IS PLUG IN AND SWITCH MIC TO WIRELESS..... IT WORKED FOR MY GOOGLE PIXEL 7A

Thanks for the info. Something that caught me out was that you can't playback and listen to audio with the receiver plugged in. Great bit of kit for the price.
with all the videos in youtube, google, even the Rode assistant... this is THE ONLY ONE it works for me. now finally i can use the microphone, because before i doesnt recognice my device and now my phone installed the last update thanks to you. Great work sir.

Hi, does anyone know if there a wireless bluetooth microphone that DOESN’T require a transmitter/receiver/dongle that attaches to the recording device, and can connect directly to the device’s bluetooth? It would ideally work similarly to how a wireless bluetooth headset would, just without the audio output, only audio input.
The reason I ask, is because either the dongle or the device port where it’s inserted is prone to damage each time I insert/remove it.

I just got this exact same wireless mic and it's not working. I on the OTG still not working on my Infinix phone. The mic lights keep blinking red and green.

Here's what work worked for me. By default internal mic is selected always to change it 1)Open the camera, 2) switch to video, 3)go to settings- microphone- select wired mic.

Even as I turned on OTG, it still didn't work on my Tecno Hot 10 Pro and on my iPhone but it worked on someone's Samsung phone i tried it with. What should I do, please?
Good video! Any ideas about with a galaxy A12? I can't see anything related to OTG, but there must be some other setting change I can make, I can't find it though?
Only way I got it to work was with Open Camera. I have a Samsung A12, it wont work with native camera software.
I have otg snd its working with screen records but when it comes to recording with camera, it doesn't work. And i can't find the option to add wireless mic in the camera settings

Hwey is there any help I have no difference with these mics on A41 samsung. Mics pair just fine but all apps keep recording internal mic not usb sound. I even turn on/off OTG settings on developer options but nothing happens. My alesis mixer playes sound trough usb just fine but these just dont work...
I got it working. I switched otg first on nothing happeneded UNPLUGGED (the key) receiver and then otg off and plugging receiver back worked like a treat.

I bought this mic but for my iPhone but it doesn't work even when I got the adapter type c for lightning. I don't know why. It fits but it doesn't show the mic when I plug it
I have this problem with another phone the other way round. lightning-ready mic for c-type phone. my perception is many adapters are not designed for audio, just power and maybe data. I don't know if it's possible for audio but I hope so. I'm still looking to find out.
I turned mine on too, but it doesn't work still. Makes no difference without the mic 😢
My horrible little A13 doesn't find 'OTG' at all. Wierdly, the wireless mic works with the 'Voice Recorder' but NOT with the video camera. Enraging.

Hello I got this mic working by developer options on Samsung A32 Allow androit auto USB routing? wchiced it off then connected mics not working. Removed mics from phone and turned autorouting back on and insterted mic to phone and mics started to work. Out of box Android did not know the mic receiver at all.
