The easiest decision in this world cup to be awarded a penalty for no reason.

Male FIFA World Cup has a history of poor officiating, three yellow cards, ghost goals, lots of fake penalties.
VAR kinda takes away the diving factor, but there are negatives, when a tiny soft piece of foul play turns into a penalty or when VAR becomes a disruption to the game's tempo. FIFA should also think about the rules, because with the VAR the game became much harder for the defenders, you can barely tackle and the handball rule is everywhere. So Gattuso and Cannavaro types might disappear from the game forever.

If the contact is not hard enough to make the player unstable or the player goes without the intention to get the ball, then yeah, its a penalty. But come on now, look at the second one. Lavelle does like 6 steps before falling and ends up metres away from the contact zone, plus she gets up like nothing. A hard tackle like that near the knee and Lavelle would drop on the place in pain. Then this last situation is a penalty.
