GREAT video- some good tips in there.
thanks for the wiggle , i was searching for something like macos
Great video mate
I'm working on your previous video really helpful
Awesome, thank you!
Excellent list
Thank you man, your videos really helpful and informative for learning linux! Best wishes from Russia!
Thanks
No one covering Auto Activities extension in any of these videos is criminal... Literally the most important GNOME extension to skyrocket my workflow
@@Mars-wy6rz It opens activities when you close the last opened window so you can easily open something else. Very simple and effective.
Noted Bro. Will include in future list. Thanks for telling.
Thanks for sharing, especially about Astra! It is the best extension of its kind!
100%. It's very customizable too.
@@kskroyaltech Thanks for sharing this extension - it's great!
very usefull video, thanks!
Nice video man
Appreciate it
thanks a lot man
You're welcome!
Great
As i somewhere red most of gnome extensions will be implemented by default in future releases of gnome..system monitoring is the first that is implemented i believe in gnome 46. When my debian will be ready to upgrade to ver. 13 and gnome 50x will be out i think they will implement all of this stuff by default:D
thnx i used some of those extencions my gnome looks bit better
the best extension is missing: dock to panel
I also like "magic lamp effect" and "wobbly windows"
Thanks for telling about dock to panel will keep in mind for future extension list. And In my previous video I have covered Magic Lamp effect
few are good!
Check out window gestures
Hey, great video. What font are you using?
*Monaco* is the name and my favorite font for coding.
"Compiz alike magic lamp effect" extension gives you minizing effect like on macOS
Yes I have covered that in my past videos. This year I thought to share different ones.
Hide top bar and compiz like magic lamp are op
I use to HATE gnome-- but found out this week-- it was because of my bad- and now REMOVED eye!!! Now that the bad eye is gone- the other works fine and it doesn't make me sick.. The sliding around did before..anyway- I owe a lot of folks an apology- it's GOOD--not great- but good. (gnome I mean) your video is very good.
Man Try gnome on laptops . 144HZ Display , Gnome gestures , you feel like next level.
@@kskroyaltech NO I won't. First- NO laptops.. second- NO GNOME- ever. I just spent the last 4 days working seriously- and can't STAND it.. and I tried. I don't undestand how that can be "efficient " for faster for anyone but a d...a..!!! Sorry- I hate that crap. KDE buiilders SCREWED that up- and now it's no good because they TRIED to make it like gnome.. when there is more than enough of that crap around already.. Just pisses me off-- had to basically use POP (for the only tiling system that really IS an auto-tiling system..and MINT for the stability. THAT has me upset- becuse I loved ARTIX, loved Cachy, loved MX (which I'm keeping as a backup). and several more-- with the PREVIOUS KDE -- they were perfect.. now worthless.
Many have a global menu for gnome 2024?
can we use arch linux gnome multiple dynamic images . example hyprland. if the possible please make the tutorial
You mean installing Hyprland Along with GNOME
@@kskroyaltech no, i want to use dynamic wallpaper arch linux gnome
bro please tell me how i can fluent in English like you your way of taking as well as your excent are really great please help me
Watch English Movies.
@@kskroyaltech i am trying to watch movies but my excent are not good 😐
One again the best
But when uploading a video on removing snap from ubuntu completely, eagerly waiting fir that sir
Still testing.
Beautiful! for me Gnome linux is better than macos
I agree!
make a top of 2024 distro list video
I made it already. See the video here: czcams.com/video/4ZY93wjVGhg/video.html&pp=ygUWYmVzdCBsaW51eCBkaXN0cm8gMjAyNA%3D%3D
Interesting! Now somebody add some kind of task bar and I will take a look at GNOME again and maybe put the right mousebutton to use somewhere.. o)
There's an extension for that aswell
"Dashtopanel"
can anyone recommend the extension for multi touch gesture i recently installed ubuntu but the multi touch gesture on touchpad doesnt seem to be working.
Same here, its a seems a bug with new release.
@@kskroyaltech I installed Touchegg and the X11 gesture extension, and they're working fine. However, I have another query: sometimes the keyboard stops working in both the terminal and the browser, but it works fine in text editors. I have to restart the system to get it working again. What might be causing this issue?
Excellent list but its 16
Please make a video, how to install windows exe. on Ubuntu Linux
Sure.
good collection but the only problem with extensions is that they might stop working on new versions and sometimes get crashes,,,,,
Yes that's true but if you see any updates, we can update the extensions too.
Bro please it’s my humble request to you please bring that tutorial next that how to triple boot fedora and Kali window cause Kali doesn’t detect other distro please tell me how I can manually add os please it’s almost more than 15 days eagerly want to solve this issue on my laptop
I am so sorry bro for the delay. Making that video is not easy takes some time.
Do one thing, boot into KALI. Then try uncommenting the *GRUB_OS_Prober* inside */etc/default/grub*
and update the grub (*sudo update-grub* )and see if kali could detect the fedora.
@@kskroyaltech it doesn’t detect fedora I tried the same thing with arch and it got detected By using update-grub but in grub boot menu it doesn’t appear
Ok please stay tuned. Sorry for not keeping the promise.
@@kskroyaltech yeah just hopping for the best
So is dash to dock
Don't try this extension with Ubuntu or Manjaro. It works better with Vanilla GNOME.
in gnome 46 blur my shell is not supported ig any other option?(also dash to dock)
It will be updated soon to support GNOME 46.
I don’t have most of these, should I update something or what can I do?
Use latest GNOME 45 or 46.
try forge extention)
I tried it. But don't know I like paperWM.
Unfortunately, no global menu extention available
Yes no proper extension is available YET
Arc Menu is 100% better than app menu
I wish i could use linux at my company. The problem is we are using same git repository and i cannot use it cos of this.
Try on your personal laptop .
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
first bro
is it work on kali linux
Its not distro dependent
Any distro that runs GNOME Desktop it has to work.
Kali runs on gnome well so ofc
Yes, default desktop for Kali is XFCE but you can choose GNOME During the installation.
If it's Linux you have gnome shell , gnome extension, teaakes, flatpak you good to go.
It surprises me that a system as clean as gnome is saturated with junk buttons, Astra monitor, logo menu, app menu and ddterm, one of the worst things I have seen, why put a start menu? If the overview is much higher, we all have muscle memory to type 2-3 letters and hit enter without looking. Pano clipboard, MiniView and Wiggle look pretty useful. automove Windows is another very useful extension that few use, you have to know how to exploit workspaces to be more productive
Manjaro still not support gnome46 😅
wait for sometime
@@kskroyaltech i moved to arch
Wiggle, Not supported in pop-os 😢
Because I think pop os is based on older gnome may be that's why. The extension needs GNOME 43+ ?
@@kskroyaltech Yes, my system uses gnome 42.5
