  • I’m this video we take a break from all the gardening jobs and prompted by my daughter, Olivia commencing her degree course in Landscape Architecture, we consider all the numerous job opportunities in the horticultural industry. We start a new series of videos which will document her experiences throughout her training.

    What is that gorgeous hedge in the background? We don't deciduous hedges like that in America.

      It’s a beech hedge and it is lovely, especially in fall, can’t you grow beech in America? Thank you for watching

    Thanks to you and your daughter for sharing. I'm curious about how you learned about gardening? Continuing education courses, books?

      I just got hooked on it gradually over time, the more we did, the more we loved it and it was something we shared together. I read and watch lots about gardening and visit lots of gardens. My husband and daughter have done their RHS training and Liv is training as a landscape architect so I pick their brains too and we all learn from
      each other. I work full time in healthcare so unfortunately don’t have any time to do formal training but it’s how I destress. Thank you so much for watching
