I'm a guy with literally like no need to know any of this stuff, but I am just endlessly intrigued by your videos, there is so much stuff to learn. It also makes me wonder how to design a better menstruation device.
I think its a good idea for guys to know this stuff. I heard many stories of single dads unable to help their daughters with puberty or male teachers not letting their students go to the washroom on their period. Men will always have to interact with women and people who menstrate, its good to know how periods work to help someone who needs help.
I have been wearing cups/discs for years. My very first cup became stuck and I couldnât remove it after 12 hours of trying. It was awful and I ended up going to the dr. I learned that I have a high cervix and short fingers. I started using cups with a loop and have been fine for almost 5 years. Iâm currently trying not to have a panic attack because I cannot get my hello disc out. I must have accidentally tucked the loop in when inserting it. I can just barely reach the rim of the disc with my middle finger. Bearing down has not moved it at all. I can only get my fiber on the outside of the rim and canât get ahold of it. Has anyone had this happen?
@@user-ht3wq7nm2d I literally just got done having my period and now you got me wanting to try it for next month's! I work in different houses and I hate using my client's bathroom even if it's just to go pee LOL so I definitely don't like using it when it's that time of the month so having a disc for cup would definitely make it so I can just work all day without having to stop

If you havenât used it yet, try not to worry! Removal will go perfectly fine! Try to stay relaxed and donât panic if it takes a couple tries to remove it. Most cups can be worn up to 12 hours, so if itâs your first time removing and youâre anxious about the time frame, try removing a little earlier than that. Discs can shift higher when youâre sleeping, for example, so donât worry if it feels like itâs moved higher when you go to remove it. Thatâs normal.
I bought it too! I haven't gone back to tampons sinceđIt is daunting at first like all cups/discs. Just make sure when you push it in to use a little lube or the residue period blood. When pushing it inside, make sure the front of disc is tucked behind the pelvic bone and the back of the disc is behind your uterus opening. You can feel it yourself with your fingers beforehand to see where it all is. You got this! Best of luck fellow disc wearerđ
The hard part isnât the pulling out, itâs the getting in or back in after. đ I struggle immensely with ways to put it back in. Itâs messy, itâs complicated. Itâs frustrating.
I dont take it out all the way in public. Once it's out alll the way I usually have to lay down to put it back in properly. I just untuck the lip of the disc thats tucked under my pubic bone, bear down to expel the contents, and tuck it back in. Usually works pretty well.

Yuck! Did a man invent this?
Yuck? You know whatâs âyuck?â Having such a heavy period that you soak through pads in two hours or less. This product has saved my life after having kids. I used to not be able to even sleep through the night or I would leak all over my bed. Could only sleep in one position and lay still. I can go a full 12 hours with this thing even on my heavy days, where itâll dump on its own when I use the restroom, if itâs full. Donât shame something that you have no idea about. It is saving a lot of people embarrassment, time, and money.
Probably not
Fuck off. Women have to deal with their periods every month and it sucks! I would much rather use this which is, safer, more comfortable, better for the environment, and much less money. If you canât âhandleâ Womens menstruation then what can you handle because itâs completely natural.
What? A man would definitely not invent something so convenient and comfortable for periods đ
