Great year for me, met my future wife (26 years married), went to stone roses gig at Glasgow green, discovered raves and went to Italia 90.

    No Hydro, No Science Centre!.
Seen the Crowne Plaza, it must have just opened, because it was still under construction during the 1988 Garden festival just two years earlier!.
The big car park where the Hydro now is, that was the main car park for the Garden Festival, you had to actually walk over Bells Bridge to enter the Festival!.
Still a lot of evidence of the Garden Festival visible from the air two years after the event!.
    Great video!.
I actually became the pilot of a light aircraft many years later!.

Jumps around it seems - Bothwell Castle near the beginning then Falls of Clyde and New Lanark well upstream and some distance from Glasgow but ends down river at the city. Intersting views over the city before drones. Helicopter? Seems too slow and low for a light plane.

Aye, definitely a helicopter, you can see the shadow of it at Bothwell Castle.

@@jemimallah2591That means nothing , the Royal Mail postcode only relates to the area that a main postal delivery office transports mail to. Neither Bothwell or nearby Uddingston, which also has a G postcode, has ever been administered by Glasgow or been within the Glasgow district boundary. Which regional authority charges council tax to the residents of Bothwell? 🤔 It's not Glasgow.
