Wow What! What an amazingly easy to understand, simple, up front video! My ac went out, then, (magically) came on again, then went OUT! (in my 2006 Honda CRV). Admittedly, I don't think its ever had refrigerant added since I bought it in 2017🙄 ( Women). That little porthole is pretty small, I am gonna bet there's a gadget to get the refrigerant in there! I will do more research. Thank you, I will also get the fuses and do the relay test.😊👍
Fantastic video, concise and to the point. I went straight to the !0amp in the engine compartment fuse box and it was blown. Swapped in a new 10 amp and all fixed. Thank you.
I just recently coincidentally, purchased a 2005 Honda CRV that pretty much has the inside looking just like the model of your in this video, and my AC in general, turns on when I twist that far left knob in the video, once to the right, and once I do that, the AC push button at the bottom of that second knob, turns green, letting me know that the AC is working in general, and most of the stuff for this vehicle I was told by the person that sold it to me at the dealership, that most, if not almost everything had to of been tested and worked out for it to be available to be purchasable on the lot, the reason why I looked up these videos is because the recycling and the moving around of air inside the car, is presented by that button at the bottom of the first knob on the left, so whenever I twist that knob ones to the right, and turn my AC on in general, the green light for that button does not turn on and doesn’t at all when I push it, so I’m really hoping that this video, and how simple it was to navigate this person’s teachings on this subject, help me out, and I’m hoping that what I’ve seen in this video and what he was trying to talk about help me reinvigorate the recycling air inside the car system button, or I find out I need to buy a new fuse of some sort.
Very straightforward 🤙🏽👏🏼 I have 05 crv same kine yea? Ac shop says my compressor not working 🤔🤔 i wonder if he telling me the truth? But I'll try your method 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
My compressor won’t stay running at idle but when driving, I get ice cold air. The car almost stalls at idle when the compressor tries to kick on. This happens for a second or two before compressor turns off. Any ideas?
I have the similar (almost) stall issue. Mine isn’t blowing cold right now, I’ll have to get it sorted. I fear it is the blower motor because the compressor is kicking on and I’ve had the refrigerant topped off. And I’ve checked the fuses and relays and found nothing. Also both fans are coming on together.
Is there a pressure switch somewhere on these CRVs because I've checked all the fuses, relays etc... The only thing I can think of is a pressure switch but I can't find one TY
Thanks I just need the fuse because I cannot get the button to work to bring in either outside air or inside air. It’s what you showed in the beginning of the video. No matter how many times I press it it just doesn’t work
Very helpful, can you do a video showing where the mass airflow sensor is on the engine. I have a 2005 and can't find it . I found the map sensor. Or does it not have a MAF.
My ac doesn’t work. One of the ac lines has a leak (the one behind the right corner of the bumper). Will replacing that line fix my problem. Great video btw.
I put Freon in my 2007 Honda cr v about two days ago, ever since I did that my AC has power constantly going to it like my light indicator that tells me what setting it’s on stays on and I can turn on the air with the dial while the car off. Compressor doesn’t come on.just blows warm air. Any help with this would be very appreciated. Thanks
How can i make it so the ac dont turn on then u turn the blower to windshield... i tried to pull those fuses but still the ac light inside turns on.. Thanks
Thanks for the video. I trouble check everything you were saying on the video and the AC still doesn't work I can't figure out what the hell's going on with this car
My 20 amp (condenser fan/ compressor) fuse under hood blows everytime I turn on the ac. It's not condenser fan or compressor. Ee unplugged compressor, turned ac on, but fuse still blew. Then we unplugged condenser fan, turned ac on, still blew that fuse. I heard the condenser fan clutch going on and off before I turned it off. But when I turned it back on, kept blowing that fuse.
@@shaunminer1870 the clutch was out on my compressor. Also, there is a fuse behind the dashboard controls electric flow going to the condenser fan and compressor
If you jump the compressor like you did with the pliers and nothing happens what does that mean? The compressor clutch is bad?? Or could it still just be low on refrigerant?
It could mean that the power supply to the relay isn't functioning, or the wire from the relay to the AC compressor clutch is broken, or that the AC compressor clutch itself is broken.
@@LehewTech I put a gauge on the low side and it was like 90 so I released some pressure down to 30 and the compressor still won’t come on. Oddly the gas coming out didn’t seem cold either and the low and high side lines got warm instead of cold. Maybe it needs all new Freon? I don’t know why the compressor won’t work. I’m screwed. Would the pressure stop the compressor from engagement like a high pressure or low pressure switch?
When i put the relay back in it clicks. So means its good i also took it out an put it in the horn side and it worked. My freon level is good. Mabe the pump is bad?
I went through a rail track and my AC shut off since then even the heat doesn’t work as well. Tried these steps the first two and got no result. What else can i try?

Thanks for the video. Very to the point. I appreciate it.
TQ brother,🤝🤝 I fixed my Aircon with your video... God Bless you

Killer video, perfect info. Thank you sir!
Be careful tapping on that relay. The top apparently is quite brittle, as mine cracked like an egg shell.

Great information Thanks
Great video
good job
the other thing that may fix a/c is the ac pressure switch. which can be tested good/faulty
Awesome man. Thanx!
Thanks a lot bro
It's workinng now
This is good information thank you
very helpful!
Big tnx!it works!

If my compressor experienced the black death is it ok to remove this relay to prevent it from turning on?

What is causing the fuse under the hood to keep burning out. The fan kicks on then stops. Replaced the fuse 2 times. Thoughts please?
The 20 amp fuse by the relay under the hood keeps blowing, as soon as you plug 1 in?
Nice video a lot of information but my issue is the ac fuse keeps blowing out , can I get an answer for this?
Hi there the fuse right next to the a/c relay keeps blowing off every time the a/c clutch desengaed any help
2006 CRV AC is not blowing at all. You can cool air barely coming out from vents????? Help
(crv model rd1 ) powering problem in ac ,what is the cause of powering .solution for that thank you (Solomon island)

same here and fuse box under the hood is diferent too
When I turn the AC on and off I can see the clutch move but it doesn't engage. Any idea what could cause that?
Low freon

I’m in the same boat. What did you discover? 2005 CRV.
My relay is good an the fuses. Still not working i put my gauge on it and its showing in green its full. Still not working any ideas
I say if anything low freon
Sigh it’s not working for me
