I think that Skeeter is the happiest dog that I have ever seen.
You know what I love about your channel? You edit just the right amount of things you do so your audience doesn’t get bored like so many other outdoor channels. I reluctantly watch channels that spend an excessive amount of time on hiking, portages, tent set up an take down, fishing, casting a thousand times, cooking, etc. Don’t get me wrong. I love watching all these things, but you two have it dialed in for the right amount of footage for each of these. All you videos share the same experience of editing. Show the highlights please, but don’t bore your audience with lengthy footage on the same subject. Unless it’s a building project where details need to be shared. I love that. And cooking recipes with Cierra. We need the details. I hope I didn’t confuse you. Oh well, job well done as always!

If there is those who wonder what a BWCA experience is like, this video is an excellent example. Busy days and beautiful nature scenes make for big appetites and a good night sleep.

Don't know if Kyle, Cierra, or Skeeter look at these comments this old. But beautiful video. Many years ago my brother took his new bride on honneymoon in that area. He was good amateur photographer, and took lots of tourist-type photos. Wife got pissed after finding out he sold many of these photos to a tourist site. But he explained to her that they were able to stay longer with money from photos.
I'll have to go check Cierra's channel, because I haven't gotten any notifications about new videos from her for awhile. This was so nice to see you all having such a great, relaxing time!

Am a vegetarian since December 2018 and after watching this video, I went out and bought a steak -- I did! omg it was delicious. Overall though, since I've become veggie, I no longer have digestion problems like heartburn and/or indigestion etc. So I think I'll stick to it. I really really enjoyed your journey (this and your cabin videos etc) Am close to my 60s now, but I think it may be part of my next chapter, building a tiny home or log cabin, am seriously contemplating it. A sincere big thank you for all you've shown so far :)

I have the same saw and love it. Took it camping and had a race with a guy who swore by his hatchet. “Sven” and and I won! Best part is that it is lighter than a hatchet. My friend now carries a “Sven” which is what we nicknamed the saw!

There is no better gift when fishing then when a fish you have no plans on keeping flops itself off your line!! You killed me though when you used tortillas right out of the package and didnt heat them up first....LOL This is definitely a young persons trip! What a wonderful experience for you both to share with one another!!!

Yaaaasss!!! I was waiting for this. I grew up going to a summer camp in northern Ontario in Algonquin park. Desolate. I was there for 2 months of my summer and there was a required 2 week long canoe trip for every camper no matter your age. Truly real wild camping 🙌🏻 Canoeing was a major part of that camp, being in Canada and all lol. Best times of my life!!! Portages were the worst when the bugs were out! We had to have bug head nets on some. Looks like y’all had a blast 🙌🏻
Killarney Ont is also a wonderful portage trip .
Spent several summers canoeing in Algonquin Park. Definitely a wonderful wilderness canoe area.
I have used one of those saws on canoe trips since the 1970’s. Great for firewood and don’t take any space in a crowded pack.

Loved this video. Skeeter is so darn adorable and such a good dog, love him! This was a fun adventure and so peaceful. Great getaway.
Here in Missouri we used to gig suckers on the local river in the winter because in the summer the meat is mushy. We scaled and filleted them just like any other fish then scored them about every 1/4" leaving the skin on without cutting through the skin, then bread them liberally in yellow corn meal or Andy's red which is my favorite making sure to get the meal inside each score and deep fry. Yummy!

Walleye are Amazingly good eating fish no matter how you cook them, I like mine rolled in Andy's red and pan fried. Pike taste very good if you know how to fillet them. Great idea to score them but much better to pan fry and rub cornmeal into each score so the bones cook up. Skeeter is such a sweet pup he never made so much as a squeek the entire trip.

I love it that you have a life preserver on Skeeter- he is soooo fast! The campsites seem really nicE~ I love the fire station they built. They seem really solid and the raised stones would help against the wind.Ah the first night in camp rib eyes you talked about earlier! YUM! So i just caught that you store your food container away from your cabin site. I just don't know how you are so relaxed about BEARS! I do NOT know how you carry that boat either! You make everything look so easy - even the portages! You caught some great fish Cierra! I loved your whole explaination of what Boundary Waters is all about! It really is a special place!! I love how relaxed Skeeter is . She doesn't seem anxious at all. You really are a great team in the boat- catching the fish , netting them, and getting them on the stringer !!! What a fish dinner you had ! I could smell and almost taste the Walleye through my screen! Is it hard to break camp and head home? Good thing you 2 can read maps! You are amazing! The scenery all along the way is so majestic! What a treat this was for me !! THANK YOU for taking us along with you and for the wonderful video you put together showing us all the wonderful aspects of your trip!!! I look forward to more of your adventures!!
