- Minnesota deer hunting opening week 2022. We camped in the wall tent with the wood stove keeping us warm and hunted hard but no deer. There is still a week left so hopefully we have better luck next week. #outdoors #homesteading #camping

Its great to see Ciera getting around so well now
I’ve got a collection of about 15 hunting rifles that my great grandpa gave me when I was a teen. Definitely my prized possessions. Awesome video as always Kyle!
👋😎👍edited to add...the 30-30 ..your grandad would be proud to know you hold it so high in appreciation...
The wall tent brings back memories of 18 months ago when we started in Alaska. Thank you for sharing the experience with us all!
Thanks for showing our stoves again! Better luck next weekend on getting a deer!
Ordered mine Thursday and got it today...thanks much.
I LOve the history of your family that you share with us Kyle! Your gun is a real treasure!
Man what a great video. Absolutely incredible especially with the history and the family. Thank you very much for sharing it with us truly appreciate it.
Thank you I appreciate you watching
Very cool Marlin story. That's a nice rifle with a great history.
Man Kyle, I bet that Marlin could tell some stories. Thank you for putting these videos out. Yours has become my favorite channel on CZcams.
Hey, good to get a new video. Thank you.☕️
Good luck, having had a wall tent for decades and stoves. If you put a little dirt, sand in the bottom of your stove, about a half inch. They will last longer, saves the bottom of the stove from burning thru.
Lol my first rifle was a model 94 30-30 I also bought at a gas station brand new for $75. They will shoot 200 yes all day long.
We had over a foot of snow this month already. This will probably be here until April. YIPPIE
Best of luck hunting next week!!!
Thanks Kyle. Being a retired hunter I always felt that even if I didn’t get one it was just great being in the woods.
That’s what it’s all about.
Your family must be so proud of you... you're an amazing young man...ty for your videos and a view into your life... keep up the great work..bless you,gal pal, dog, family...go get um kid...
Happy to see a new video-I get more homesick with each one!
Glad to see you Kyle and Cierra!
Looks like Cierra is still a little tender, but coming along 😊.
You are a true woodsman ,with great respect for nature.
Your doing a great job caring on your family heritage.
Hello. The tent looks very nice and cozy! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🏕🏕🏕🏕🏕🏕
Fun to watch from my heated home I’m an old man now born in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1942
Your Grandfather’s gun is so cool. One day you will be able to hand it down to your son. Good luck hunting.
Or daughter.
@@sylviabradley7355 absolutely. I hunt. Should go to the first born or first one that want to learn.
Looks like the surgery and recovery went well. Good luck on the next weeks hunt, fill that freezer.
I have a 1957 marlin in 35 Remington I use in the upper peninsula of Michigan. It was handed down to me as well. I was born and raised a yooper.
Happy hunting good luck 👍 thanks again
Beautiful sunrises.
What a special gift you got your grandpa gun. I can see it means a lot to you. Glad Cierra is doing better.
amazing story about your past
NICE rifle! Great back story on the property. ❤
Be glad you're not in the UK because that miserable rain is all we get in winter...
Ain't nothing better than a warm place after a cold day hunting.
Thank you Kyle and North Woods Fab. Just ordered my stove and can’t wait until it arrives.
Always enjoy ur videos.
What's up Kyle?
I used to hunt in the woods of PA with a Winchester 32 special, which basically is a 30/30. Got a lot of deer. No scope. My dad had a 308…when that gun barked, it was always just one shot. He was the master.
WOW! It looks just like my Marlin 336. It is also chambered in 30-30. I love it and have taken a few deer with it. A very handy rifle in the wild!
Great content as always. Thanks for showing us around the wall tent! Northern MN looks incredible, unlucky about the deer. Hopefully next time!
I just love camping trips and hunting and setting up tents and watching people do it cuz I can't do it anymore thanks for sharing
That’s awesome! Stay tuned I have a lot of camping stuff coming up.
Love your videos and glad Sierra is back!
Nice to hear the back story on the land you pitched your tent on! Very cool it's still in your family. Plus your grandpa's rifle! Glad Cierra is up & about. Take care & fingers crossed for you getting a deer 🦌 soon!! 😁
Love how you cherish your grandfather’s gun, He is with you every time you take it hunting,
Question, know Cierra loves to fish does she hunt with you?
Nice truck man
You have inexhaustible energy! Really enjoy the channel
Sorry for the lack of deer, you definitely put your time in there. Weather was just starting to get right too, snow. Your journey reminds me of my childhood in Wisconsin. Love what ya'll are doing ❤️
Good luck Guys. Great video 👍👍
What a great memory of your grand father. Using his rifle keeps him in your thoughts.. and thats the best legacy we can leave our kids and grandkids. Not to be forgotten ❤❤
Nice video Kyle, and good luck with the hunt 🙂
It has been a very quiet deer season over here in Koochiching Co., as well.
Good luck.
Just stop to say Hi from Finland!
Cool awesome video
It's nice to see that Cierra's getting out. It seems like the deer have figured out that if they stay around peoples cabins they mostly get left alone. I wonder how many deer crossed your front yard while you were out in the blind? 😜(I know, those deer are like pets.) I see them on the cellular security cabin at my cabin north of Cook, MN. The neighbor did hunt a few days during bow season. He saw one walking next to another neighbors cabin but he wouldn't shoot on to someone else's property without permission. It was too far for a bow shot anyway. Thanks for the video Kyle!
Good to see Cierra back in action. I could see the pride in your face when you were talking about your Grandpa's gun. You're a great couple, and I enjoy all your video's, and Thank You for sharing them.
Bummer... Still as always..a great video 👍
Great video
Cierra is doing good
Glad she was able to go
Kitty and Skeeter there too
Love the stove and your tent
Good luck next week on your hunting
Take care and see you all in next video
Nice to have you back
Awesome about your grandparent's place! Hope Cierra's injury is healing well. Better luck hunting! 👍🇨🇦😎🌲🔥🦌
Nice video, I'm from New Jersey and there is no lack of deer in the state, they are everywhere even in populated areas and the hunting is great in the pine barrens and the mountains!
Nice to see you both! Better luck next week! Thanks
sweet tent
Great video thanks for sharing the history of the area
Good to see you 2 doing great. Thanks for awesome video. 😊
Always interesting.
My hat's off & salute you both for the speedy camp set up 👍❤️🏆🏆🏆🇺🇸💪😉
Great video.
Good luck to the both of you at your next location.
Thank you Kyle.
Great seeing you guys. Hope ya get one next time !
Great video!
Excellent video content, Kyle. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. I look forward to seeing more adventures.
Thanks for sharing. I feel like I'm there with you. Great Video!
Thanks for sharing with us! Nice to see Cierra walking around and enjoying the outdoors with you! Looking forward to the next one! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
Thanks for sharing about your grandfather. "Bought the gun in 1956 at a gas station" is a good microcosm of how far our culture has degraded in the last half century. People enjoyed far more freedom in those days. I'm from St. Paul, love these videos.
hope you didn't miss vikes vs bills game? Thee greatest game i've ever watched. nice history piece. the Garza family came to minnesota 1941 cuz my grandpa worked for burlington-northern, that how we came to st.paul(west side). Our family history to coming here. NICE PIECE. STAY SAFE & STAY BLESSED
An interesting adventure, but disappointing with no harvest! Enjoyed the family background story and tour of Grandfathers cabin.
My 32 Winchester is like that. Beautiful property.
Thank you very much for your insurance I enjoy watching them
I grew up in Sweden ,your dna is evident, you really look Scandinavian! 😃
Keep warm and keep the videos coming. Always look forward to hearing from you and Ciara.
Cool gun glad you got it.
Great content, Kyle
iv missed you so much Kyle i love watching you hope sierra is doing better
Thank you for video. Still catching up on all the other videos last watch the hour long one where you and your Dad built your cabin. Awesome job. Love from Lenoir NC
Ciera looking good sorry the Dear didn't come out. But there be better day's.. Awesome video thank you ❤️💕 for sharing this with us 💕the dog and the cat are like kid's Hug's for everyone. Stay safe and warm ❤️
the first rifle I got was from my Dad for Christmas when I was 12. it was a Marlin 35 Rem. looks just like the one you have. my first deer was shot with it. now that Dad is gone I have his Rem 700 in 30-06 bolt action, got my first Moose with it. so many memories. you can add a extended hammer thumb grip to that Marlin. I did so I had more grip on that dang hammer to set it to half calk
Hi LOVIES wonderful photography have fun you are a very hard worker young man we enjoy your videos. GOD BLESS love New Zealand
Enjoyed, glad to see Cierra, walking around, she'll be shuffle dancing in no time
No need, my prize is watching your channel THANKS
Great video, thanks for posting it. It’s great getting to camp and hunt on longtime family property. That Marlin you have is neat. I also have a Marlin lever-action that I enjoy hunting with. It has a safety, and I don’t have a full scope on it (that’d be overkill), but one of those smaller scopes that help me make a good shot that won’t just wound a deer. Keep up the great videos!
Another great video! I have the same gun, but in .35 Remington. I also inherited it from my grandfather. Shot my first buck with it.
Cool gun.
Cool property
Thank-you for showing the set up of the canvas tent..o had price some for us to have.
I'm in central Wisconsin, my neighbor got a nice buck the other day, good luck 👍
Well good luck with your next week of hunting here in northern Michigan our season opens November 15th so hopefully I see more than you saw
We really enjoy watching you guys living off the grid.
I thought 35 years ago when we built our house on 6 acres of thick woods that we were in the middle of nowhere.
Our road only has 7 homes no curbs or sidewalks, so quiet and peaceful.
Yet 15 minutes to highways, malls and city life. When traveling I can't wait to get home to our country roads.
My husband has fished, hunted, and trapped with hip waders since he was a young boy. I've been target shooting and skeet shooting, fishing, crabbing even duck hunting.
But that's it for me.
Venison is our favorite for roasts, chili, stew, meatloafs. Pheasant, yum. We save the legs and it makes the best soup!
A few years ago he won the lottery to hunt moose in Maine.
That meat is even better than venison.
We have a perfact daughter, rode horses but no interest in hunting with her dad.
If we had a son, well we would be so proud of you.
God Bless, stay safe.
That’s so cool to have the land still from your grandpa, that was interesting sharing that, hope you get a deer with your new location what with the snow for seeing fresh tracks xxx brief seeing Cierra hope she’s recovering well xxx
I inherited my father’s browning deer rifle. I had it for about 12 years I would never have sold it but I passed it on to my son I think he will get a lot of use with it
It was nice to see Cierra walking so her healing is going well. Its so disappointing having spent a whole week not seeing one deer. The weather sure didn’t cooperate . I’m sure you will have some chances to get a deer. Until your next video take care and be safe.(Judy NB)🇨🇦🌲
Yes, great to see Ciera getting around. Too bad not much in the way of deer sign. Been there done that many times. It is what it is. Move on to another area. Good luck in the other areas. Stay warm and SAFE.😊
Great video Kyle, better luck next week
My maternal great grandparents came from Sweden, GGJohn and his brother settled in northern Minnesota. Still quite a few relatives left in the state, and more in northern Wisconsin. But like a lot of families, the younger generations are all over the US now.
Your grandpa's place reminds me of some family places in northern Wisconsin, in the Philips/Butternut area. Hope you get a deer in the last week! Nothing like fresh liver and backstrap.
Deer are everywhere, until opening day😂
I have a Winchester model 64 30-30 I got from my grandfather when I was 13. Nice gun. Same sketch safety or lack of one.
Beautiful dog,! I'm a happy new little subscriber from MN , love this vid!e even though 🦌 hunting is totally wrong on ALL levels....
Northern Minnesota is a special place. I can't help but feel grateful for our ancestors, who went into the unknown to lay down the foundational blocks for future generations. Are you a Finn?
We are waiting for u to announce u guys are having a little one
I was hoping you would have scored. I’m heading up tomorrow for the last few days of archery and rifle opens up Saturday. I also use a 30-30 but I’ll bring my 270 too . Good luck next week. 👍
