Man. This is probably one of my favorite moments ever. Not just in Jojo's, not just in anime. But probably one of my favorite moments in fiction and popular media of all time. The sheer satisfaction in seeing Kira get what he deserves after all of the effort the protagonists have made to track him down and defeat him is just marvelous.
Fun fact: there is almost no gravity in stopped time. This is why DIO and Jotaro could fly in their fight, and why Koichi gets fucking yeeted by Jotaro's coat.

Well the 5 second rule really is just a guide on how much they can usually stop time, and Jotaro probably breathed in and held his chest so he can gain more seconds of frozen time just to beat Kira.

In the manga, Koichi have Jotaro a little push to help him get within range just before Jotaro activated his time stop, hence why he’s hanging onto Jotaro’s jacket after Star Platinum: The World. The anime cut that little detail, leaving an awkward moment where Koichi seemingly teleports.
